My researching of family began, after the birth of my grandson Max in 1997, when my daughter-in-law gave me a version of Family Tree Maker. As a child I always loved mysteries. I read my mother's Ellery Queen novels, watched Perry Mason episodes and my favorite board game was Clue. I always thought how much fun it would be to work as a detective. I guess, in my own way, I do.|
I firmly believe that our ancestors deserve more than just dates on their memorials. It is because of that philosophy that I try to add as much of the information that is available to me. Thank you for either your help or your understanding when I fall short.
The surnames I am searching and recording from my paternal side are:
Gibson, Keller, Miller, Ploehs, Reed and Walkinshaw
& from my maternal side, they are:
Beamer, Cunningham, Nelson, Peterson, Park, Parke, Parks, Perrell, Snow and Wiseman
For those who wonder...
Why the number of memorials managed is higher than the number of memorials created?
This is due to some generous F*A*G contributors who decided to transfer some of their memorials to myself and others.
I feel honored to be one of the recipients entrusted to care for these postings.

|Willa Wood||Alexander Greer|
Alexander Greer b. 1813 d. 1880 is my ggg-grandfather and I am trying to prove that James Greer b. 1783 d. 1844 is his father, I am trying to get into the DAR and this is my brick wall, do you have any information that will prove that James is Alexander father, Benjamin Greer is my patriot, and he is James father who is my 4th grandfather and Benjamin is my 5th grandfather. This is the first time that I have found where Alexander and Lydia is buried would like to have a picture of his tombstone if possible. I have looked all over in Grayson Co for his grave in Nov. 2014 and couldn't find it. Thanks very much for the work you do. Granddaughter of Alexander and Lydia Greer. You are very welcome - I don't care about the 'rules' unless its my own family! Anytime let me know if you find others.

I noticed you have added my gg grandmother Louisa to the Haw Orchard cemetery. I have been trying to find her burial site for some time, but I have been limited to internet research. I would love to know how you found her burial location and if you have any other information about her. Thanks so much, Tracey Schroeder

|Mark Shifflet||John Adam Winkelblech|
I am researching the Winkelblech family in Penns Valley, PA (Centre County). I notice that you added a picture of John Adam Winkelblech on his monument page. (Aaronsburg Reformed Cemetery). I am curious about the source where you found it, so I can look further into his family. Thank you.

Marcia, you are very welcome. I'm glad you're doing all the linking. I'll be sure to check the site, as I probably don't have the additional information you've added.
