To keep weeds out of the beautiful Find A Grave garden....
First, I don't link to Unknown Burial Site Memorials as Unknown Burial Sites shouldn't be on FAG according to the guidelines of the website. The first criteria for making a memorial on FAG is having the burial site, as this is a grave registration site.
Second, I may or may not transfer outside of the guidelines to an established member. It is my choice. Long-time hard working-members, who are busy in surveying cemeteries and taking grave photos impress me more than someone who is collecting others' memorials for their personal goal or waiting for someone to find the burial sites for their numerous memorials made with an "unknown burial site".
Lastly, there are no duplicated memorials on FAG. If I find a duplicated memorial while researching this site, there is 99% chance that it will be deleted or merged eventually.
You may disagree with the guidelines but remember the guy who started Find A Grave wrote them. He is the boss.
Also, thank you for all the flowers and tokens left on my family's memorial. They are all sincerely appreciated by me and my family.

I have't thought about joining DAR...been working too hard on my family tree. I may give it some consideration. Let me know how it turns out for you.

I was fulfilling a photo request for Pvt Elijah Allen and decided to photograph his wife also...they are both buried in my ancestor's Youmans Davis Cemetery. I noted the location of the burial as a caption under my photo. I was unable to add the burial site on the memorial page as I did not write the original. I am new to this....I am also a fairly new member to the Amelia Island Gen Society....any hints to better add data to Find A Grave is greatly appreciated.

Linda, I THANKED you and I verified location and deleted the one in Park. I don't know what more you want? Please explain your last flame. Thanks.

You are most welcome!
First you apparently got upset that I refused to change my memorial. Second, it is my memorial and I can add any name I choose. There are some people in this life that always identified themselves as Mrs. Whomever, and when I know they have done this, I always honor their wishes and place it on the memorial.
It is all about them and has nothing to do with us.
