Bio and Links
Bio Photo This is a fun and interesting hobby for me, as well as a great way to perform a meaningful community service to others. Someday I hope to have more free time to devote to it.
In fairness to those who may have closer ties to a memorial, please read the Transfer Guidelines prior to requesting a transfer. I will make exceptions if I am doing photo requests for you. You do not need to "manage" every memorial that is part of your family tree. Remember that this site is for locating burials, not building a tree. There are other websites that are more suitable for that purpose. I will be happy to make any links and corrections. PLEASE use the SAC feature ("Edit" tab). Please do not ask me to do links to any "Burial Unknown". Do your homework, first. FIND A GRAVE ADMINISTRATORS SUPPORT THIS POLICY. Please feel free to add photos where appropriate, as you do not need to manage the memorial to add photos.

Please be kind to Photo Volunteers! We are out there in all kinds of weather in a variety of conditions to find your friend's/relative's graves. We are not after a Pulitzer Prize and sometimes even our best effort may produce a not-so-good photo. If any of my photos are not to your liking, please leave me a message and I will try to get a better one. I will not be offended.

NOTE: All photos that I have posted on Find a Grave ARE photos that I have taken myself, or, in the case of a few portrait photos, I received permission to use them and it is so stated in the photo's caption. Photos that I've posted of cemetery gates, signs, statues, buildings, points of interest, mausoleums, etc. that have been added to a cemetery's profile page were ALL taken by me and were submitted to the Admins of this site for posting if they chose to do so. Family photos are all photos that are in my possession, taken by me or immediate family members who are no longer living. I have never lifted photos from other websites so if you see photos on other websites that have been posted by me to Find a Grave, those photos were lifted from this site and used without my permission. I have only given permission to others to copy headstone photos, not any other type of photo.

Since March 2013 I have taken over management of approximately 25,000 memorials in Inglewood Park Cemetery from Chris Mills. Please continue to send suggestions for corrections using the "Edit" tab and I will get to them as soon as I can.

Myra M. Tinkham
Hi B.J.

Wanting to let you know I think I made a mistake with Myra and LeRoy. Myra married Warren Ayer Tinkham in 31 Mar 1926 in Los Angeles, California and he died 30 August 1980 Los Angeles, California Myra's name was Myra Mae Underhill born 26 Jan 1902 in Nebraska.

Leroy was married to Eugenie Shell on 28 Sep 1934, Los Angeles, California she was born 26 Dec 1911 in Oregon and died 13 Jan 1996 in Los Angeles, California. Cant find her grave but I suppose it is with LeRoy. Sorry for the mix up.

RE: Lynn Atkinson
frank is the husband of a 4th cousin 1x removed (lela m nunamaker).

did not get the persons name. i told her i was trying to verify he was the correct person, i had frank charles Birth 5 JUN 1890 Death 10 AUG 1959, which looked like a match to frank 1890-1959, but the Lynn Atkinson on the stone was throwing me for a loop as i had no record of a 2d marriage for him.

she looked at both records and stated there was no relationship between them and that she was placed there as it was an available space.

RE: Minnie Davenny
You're so sweet. Poor Minnie was an only child and her husband died one year before her. Her husband is buried in Seattle with their only son.

You and I think alike. My Mom and I just had a stone made for my great grandmother who died in 1944 and never had a stone. We decided if we didn't do it no one else would remember. I have dozens of other relatives with no stones and it's just so sad! At least if I know where they are buried I can get them memorialized in FindAGrave.

RE: Minnie Davenny
Thank you for trying! I doubt if the office knows if there was a stone. I didn't think to ask that when I found her location. She was my 1st cousin 4x removed and I doubt if anyone had any money to give her a stone. If you find out, please let me know.

Iris Mary Pound Murphy
Hi, B.J.
I just put in an edit request for your memorial #161186220 and wanted to explain. You were very helpful to me a while back in finding and documenting where Iris Mary Murphy is buried. Thanks again! Just needed to clarify that her maiden name is Pound, not Bishop. Iris Mary is buried next to her mother, Frances Bishop, and her stepfather, A.H. Bishop. I appreciate your help!
