New editing function is available from FAG, so check the 'Edits' tab (upper right on your profile page). You can accept or decline recommendations from other FAG members (generally to update your burials e.g., place of birth/death, full name or nickname, etc). Also, take the extra time (for you and others) to look up the place of birth & death (& month & day) if they are on-line. This link is very good for general information - https://familysearch.org/search|
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE - if you take photos of graves which are partly covered by grass or dirt, take a few minutes and uncover the grave for a clear photo of the details. If it was your ancestors, wouldn't you want the same courtesy?
Maternal ancestors were PATTERSON and WHITAKER from Surry County, NC and I serve as a volunteer with the Surry County Genealogical Association to locate and document cemeteries as well as burials. Other family lines include CRISSMAN, RING, LOGAN, EVANS, MAINARD, FULK, REDMAN, and HAYMORE.
Earliest known paternal ancestors are in Chatham Co, GA - Benjamin Carter (b. abt 1828, d. 1862) & Mary Tillman (b. abt 1837 & d. aft 1870). Other lines include WELLS, GROOVER (GRUBER), MOBLEY, PRICE, and ROBINSON.
If I have burials that are more connected to you, will be glad to transfer them and would appreciate the same.

They are separate cemeteries--the problem seems to be that some were listed either in the wrong list or both lists. So far only a dozen or so have needed to be deleted. Thanks for bringing the latest one to my attention.
|John Evans||Quenn Flower McLamb|
There are 3 Elim Baptist church cemetery can you tell which county she is in
|Rich Kreiss||Alma Ashburn|
Hi Bob - I got your history on Alma and her parents. You've done a spectacular job tracking the family. I'm going to transfer Alma to you so you can add or change whatever you decide is best for this memorial.
|Kevin Haynes||Dorothy Hensley Antioch Cemetery|
The problem here is that the Antioch church has two graveyards one on the hill above it and one behind it. The one the hill was filled up, so someone donated some land besdie the church and new graveyard was started, whoe ever created that graveyard shouldn't have, all the graves in it have been duplicated as far as I can tell.
|Ray Turner||keesling cemetery|
There are three named Keesling cemeteries listed on Find A Grave. Two are linked: Ellison - New Keesling Cemetery See: Keesling Cemetery Middletown (Henry County)Madison County Indiana USA
The third is Keesling Cemetery at North of 975W and 400N Mechanicsburg (Henry County) Henry County
Indiana USA Postal Code: 47384
I am not familiar with either of the named cemeteries so I am not sure if they are all the same. Maybe someone familiar could straighten it out.
|sandi gunter hawkins||lang family|

|Miranda Griffin||RE: 46884379 Nancy Fulk Carlisle Wall|
I showed Omeda Brewer the Shiloh Cemetery ca. 2000 with Nancy S. Wall Grave marker, Omeda found her death certificate in Guilford Co. NC. We don't know where Mastin Wall is buried or his parents Byrd Wall and Lucy Griffin, thought Byrd might be there or the Stone-Wall Cemetery off Rierson Road. Omeda had her mother's photos and letters and Bible and remembered talk when she was young not positive of where James Madison Carlisle is buried. Being several field stones around Nancy S. Wall leaves us wondering. The photo I have on findagrave was from Mrs. Tally near Walkertown and the other descendant person labeled it as Nancy Wall buried in the Old Mount Olive Cemetery on Hwy 66, King, Stokes Co NC. Maybe daughter of Catherine Hightower and Robert Wall.
|L. Adams||William Collins, father of ES Collins|
I believe that my gggrandfather, William Henry Collins, died in the Civil War. I am not aware of their being a grave for him. I have that he served in Company A, 1st Battn SS Regiment North Carolina and died in 1865. This information is not conclusively verified. Since there is no grave, I didn't include an entry in FindAGrave. Also, I do not have any information about his parents or family. If you are able to contribute any information, I would appreciate it!
Thanks so much. L Adams

|Betty and Scott||JOHNSON in Franklin County|
I got your e-mail about William Johnson
in Franklin County.
I am related to his wife Nancy(Pearce)Johnson.
|Dan Stevenson||George Thomas Evans|
Regarding George Thomas Evans (memorial 99880731). I am working on a Crater family tree (his second wife). I know very little on George (most I included on his memorial). I believe I have some more on his children by Mamie Crater and on Mamie and her parents, siblings, etc. if you are interested.
