Born and raised in Fresno, California of Alabama born parents, got into Genealogy in 1997 when I could not figure out what else to do with this computer on-line. I have built up quite a lot of pictures of old shots of Clay County and Jefferson County Alabama. I have visited most of the cemeteries of my ancestors and my Wife's ancestors in Missouri, Oklahoma and Arkansas. A Self-proclaimed Historian with a California Historical society (E Clampus Vitus), I am visiting places of historical interest and with my trusty Dimage ,Olympus, and Casio digital cameras have been taking pictures of headstones at whatever cemeteries we may visit and Historical Monuments in our travels in California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Washington. In Fresno, I have added the 1919 biographies of early Fresno residents from the Paul E Vandor book titled "The History of Fresno County" to as many listings as I could. If you have something you would like to have added to a Bio, just drop me a line. | |

 | Hallmon Hi,
I am a new member and will try to take photo soon.
Are your Letsons from Jefferson Co, also? One of my grandfather's friends was a Mr. Letson who lived across from Mcadory School outside Bessemer, AL.
Sincerely,
C. Rushing | | | Neil I Hamilton

 | Frank Hamilton Ball of Fresno, California 1855-1919 Hey! I want to take this moment to thank you for taking a photo and posting of my Great Uncle Frank Ball on this findagrave.com. I did visit and see it there in about 10 yrs ago. That cemetery is beautiful. He married to first two wives that are related to me. His third wife is not related to me. Anyway, thank you. Have a great day. Cheers, Peter | | | Peggy

Could you take a picture of the whole heastone not just the names-are they placed side by side--I am doing research on the Woodsons and wondering if these people are related to Ervin Woodson and Azalia Woodson butied in the Quant family plot in the same cemetery. It would be a big help:) Forever grateful! Vickie | | | | [View all messages...] |
