I'm retired and I really enjoy doing genealogy.|
Family names I am working on:
Ohio: Collins, Denlinger, Garber, Moore, Whistler
Indiana: Bechtold, Biehl, Ferrey, Garber, Sayers, Whistler
New York: Marsh, Moberg, Straughen, Winans

I am glad to help and to share info. I am also willing to transfer memorials if I'm not related. Transfers of related memorials can be negotiated.
PLEASE feel free to use any photos or info I have put on Find-A-Grave.

I can't believe my Father's first Wife's second husband is directly in front of him...would you mind snapping a photo for me?
|Michael Hague||Elizabeth W. Whisler Baker|
This is the correct Elizabeth W. Whisler Baker # 37123150 memorial. You sent me a SAC to the one I had created, it turned out to be a duplicate... Michael

Quite a few years ago I made copies of six double pages of "History of Starr Cemetery, Forest County, Pa." by Lois Updyke. I just came across it. I would be glad to send these to you on appropriate graves if you are interested. I just copies the pages that had Atwells on them. This book was in Franklin Library. Nancy

JD, I see what you mean. I too think they are the same cemetery. If you remove yours I will repost her correctly.

Was wondering if you would transfer memorials 73643818 and 73643793. They were my uncle and aunt. I would like to add more info for them (parents and siblings)as they never had children.
Thank you in advance,

Jamima Winans was the wife of Robert C. Shorts. She was born 4 July 1805 Milton, Trumbull Co. , Ohio and died 14 November 1896 Richmond, Crawford Co., Pa. She was the daughter of Jacob Winans (known as little Jake) born 20 Sept 1777 in Middlesex, NJ. He died 1870 in Milton, Trubull Co., OH. Her mother was Catherine DeLong born 4 April 1781 Smithfield, Northampton, PA. Died 1857 in Milton, Mahoning Co. Mahoning County was carved out of Trumbull by this time.
Jamima was the sister of Jesse Winans.
It is through Jamima that we are members in DAR so all information has been verified. She and Jesse are the grandchildren of Jacob Winans who fought in the Revolutionary War. Born 26 Nov. 1726 in Perthamboy, NJ. Died 1810 in Milton, Trumbull, Ohio. Wife Mary Gray.
We're cousins several times removed.
My great aunt Jessie Moore began this research in the 1960's and descendants have added to it over the years.
