Your tombstone stands among the rest
Neglected and alone
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished marble stone
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood and bone
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so
I wonder if you lived and loved
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot
And come to visit you

Thank you for all of your work on the memorials for various members of the Wells "clan." My grandfather was Frederick Marshal Wells, so it's wonderful to have a chance to pay my respects to the members of the family I never had a chance to meet.

Thank you for creating this memorial and linking Benjamin to his family!
All the best!
Thank you for visiting my cemetery Michael Bittner (one of the deaths at the Berlin Wall). I appreciate your thoughtfulness.
Greetings from Kerstin

THANKS for doing that so fast.
You wouldn't have another one that is not readable like that? I am looking for Hiram's brother William. William was born about 1814 and the family went to Knox Co., OH about 1829. I am not sure of William's death date. One source gave 1849. The siblings stayed in Ohio, not say he did.

Hi. I am trying to find out if Albert Farquhar is related to my relative, Sarah Jane Deshong. I've read she was raised by her grandparents named Farquhar and that's all the information I can find. They lived in the Fredericktown, Knox Co. and Bellville, Ohio areas and are relatives of the Lefevres. I saw you posted his memorial so that's why I was hoping you might now. Apparently, Sarah's mother had passed away when Sarah was young and her father is not mentioned so I assume he also passed away? Thanks. It's a mystery:(
