I live in Innisfil and some of the names I'm tracing are.. Brown, Atkinson, Hardy, Ferrier, Ambrose, Spring and Mainprize.. to name a few.|
I will gladly transfer a memorial as long as it falls within FAG guidelines and you state your relationship.
It's been quite a struggle.. but I'm finally able to get logged in and back to work! I will get to all edits etc ASAP.. thanks for your patience!

|Tina da Camara Pestana||Lewis headstone|
I was out photographing at the Newmarket Cemetery recently and I took a picture of the Lewis Headstone. Before entering it, I checked that it hadn't already been entered and saw that you had already created an entry.
I noticed that you also entered their daughter's details. I was wondering though, seeing as she has been buried in Guelph, whether it won't create a duplicate entry and confusion down the line?
I tried to see if I could find where she is buried and all I could find out about her is that she used to be the director, Women's Institute Branch and Home Economics Service (http://beta.worldcat.org/archivegrid/collection/data/627542231) and (http://images.ourontario.ca/Partners/MPL/MPL002496085pf_0939.pdf) and that a bench has been dedicated to her and her husband at the University of Guelph, where it appears her husband was a lecturer in the soils sciences (http://www.uoguelph.ca/arboretum/pdf/GreenWebFall2003.pdf). It also appears that her husband survived her (http://www.uoguelph.ca/theportico/archive/1996/1996may.pdf). It looks like she may have gotten married in her late 30s or beyond, because she was still going by Miss Lewis in her late 30s. I also found out that she was born in Newmarket, the last of 5 children born to Charlie and Ethel and was a descendant of one of the Donne / Doane families. All that and sadly I couldn't locate where she is buried. :(
Do you think it would help to place a photo request at the 3 main cemeteries in Guelph? (Woodlawn Memorial; Memory Gardens & Marymount - the last one being a Catholic Cemetery.)
Have a nice day
|Peter Schofield||Re: Martha Rock St. George's Barnsley|
There is a grave MI for Martha Rock, and one of their son, but dates do not match - 1844-1854.
"In memory /of / Abraham Rock, stone mason / Barnsley who departed this / life November 10th 1844 / aged 54 years / also of Martha relict of the above / who departed this life / July 24th 1865 / aged 80 years"
"In memory / of / Thomas son of Abraham / and Martha Rock, who died / June 16th 1841 aged 19 years".
There are no other headstones for Martha Rock other than these in St. George's
|Bonnie Hollender||Frances Amelia Brett McKenzie|
The information on Frances Amelia Brett McKenzie ( #115975744 ) is not correct as for her spouse. Her spouse was Matthew Addison McKenzie (#115968378 ) . The spouse listed now is Franklin Ernest McKenzie ( #115967304 ) ---- Franklin Ernest was born 1877 and died 1878 ( child #7 of Matthew McKenzie and Margaret Stewart ) and was the brother of her real husband Matthew Addison (child # 8 )
Matthew and Frances were my grandparents.

I have a few corrections to your memorials
First Find A Grave Memorial# 108792454 for George Carr, the headstone you have posted on this memorial is not for George Carr. That photo is the footstone for George Allison and his sister Phoebe M., the wife of George Carr. So that stone needs to be posted to George Allisonís memorial at Find A Grave Memorial# 108795535. The dates of birth and death that you have for George Carr are actually for George Allison. Plus the headstone photo should be posted to Phoebe M. Allison Carrís Find A Grave memorial # 108792476.
George Wellington Carr was born in May 1862 and he died June 14, 1946 in Glen Ellyn, Dupage County, Illinois and his memorial is Find A Grave Memorial# 14777121. Because the memorial in Forest Hill Cemetery was created in 2006, your George Carr memorial should be deleted.
I have sent edit suggestions to connect George Wellington to his first wife, Phoebe and added dates of marriage for both Phoebe and Gertrude Bishop his second wife, so they will be chronologically linked to GW CARR.
You donít know how much excitement there was when we found your memorials. My friend in Scotland is a long lost grandchild of George Wellington Carr and Phoebe Allison. He is absolutely thrilled with your work.
God Bless and thank you.

My tech guy says he should have it fixed

Number of Edits for her must be large.

Are you OK?
I have sent some Edits, but you have done nothing?
So I was wondering about you. You usually do them fast.
