Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am retired in Boise, Idaho. I have loved spending time in cemeteries since I was a little girl. Helping people by exploring cemeteries and photographing grave markers for them is a dream retirement activity for me.

I walk the rows taking random photos when I am in a cemetery, and add the photos or the entire memorial to Findagrave if they are not in. I particularly concentrate on veterans (and their spouses), infants and children. I feel the veterans have earned the right to go to the front of the line. And I feel that since the babies and the children got so little on earth, at least I can give them some electronic "life".

I am always happy to add any information to a memorial I manage. Just send it. I am also delighted to add obituaries; just make sure that I have the correct attribution to add so the paper's copyright is respected.

If you find any errors of fact, date, relationship, or spelling on any of my memorials, please let me know. As a former professional proofreader, I KNOW that no one is perfect all the time, including me. I will fix it.

I will transfer management of memorials in line with the Findagrave guidelines, which specify relatives in a direct line. Specifically, they say: "Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Any non-direct relatives (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc) are not required to be transferred." Please do not ask.

Winifred Mary Sargent Oas
Sue - you had requested information regarding Winifred Mary Sargent Oas' second husband (refer to Find A Grave Memorial# 59269449).

Winifred's second husband was Orin John Oas, Find A Grave Memorial# 62080335, and is buried at Morris Hill Cemetery, Boise, ID.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you need more information.

RE: Laura K. Wilkins
Sue Ann,

According to her death certificate, she was buried in Mountain Home. No telling which cemetery. Three of her children were buried at Mountain View.

RE: Baltzor of Jordon Valley
I've just discovered your death date for Oliver Jarvis Baltazor. Oliver was gassed in France during WW !. He was discharged 11 July 1919 from Whipple Barracks. Arizona with pay to Mountain Home. He can be found on the 1920 census with his family in Denio, OREGON in January--so did not die in 1919. HE died at his aunt's home on Cow Creek or Sheaville, but I've been unable to find out when he died. I've about run out of places to look. I'M ABOUT READY TO TACKLE the National Archives again. Wilda

RE: Baltzor of Jordon Valley
After posting the request for Delamar I looked the cemetery over and decided William Yates had done this cemetery and I decided he had taken pictures of every marker he could find. I'll will remove my request. I had wondered if this cemetery was completely destroyed. It doesn't seem to be taken care of but does still exist.

My grandfather came west by himself. After a few years some of his family joined him. They told him he was leaving an A out of his name. By that time he had been doing business as Exir F. Baltzor and thought it would be too much trouble to change. He told his four sons to spell it correctly before starting business, Only Bud did that. Fortunately Bud was responsible for putting the marker on his grave in Canyon Hill and spelled his name Francis Xavior Baltazor

Thanks again for the pictures. Wilda

I see you manage Jann Hart's memorial in Morris Hill Cemetery, Boise. Is the monument broken? It looks so in the photograph. I still put flowers on her parents' and her son's grave every Memorial Day in Cumberland, Wisconsin. They are my great-great grandparents. Vicky Crane

RE: Hester Thompson
I didn't find her headstone in the cemetery. There are many unmarked and broken/destroyed headstones. If you can tell me a location, section or plot number, I will gladly take a picture of the area for you and give you a good description or map of how to find the location.

I've removed my photo request for the time being. More research needs to be done first. I think this is a relative but I'm not sure.
