84723763 Henrietta Maud Jeffries
Dave, I might have done this myself--not too unlikely, but Henrietta is listed as the mother of Chester Warren Sipes. She is actually his wife. Do you need me to submit the change? I don't know whether that will get rid of the child/parent thing or not.

John S Greenwood #75322391
Hi Dave, I have a question about John Greenwood #75322391. Alma L Nothstine is listed as a spouse however there is no other information. When was she married to John. Was Emma a first wife?

Hi Dave,

Would you please consider transferring the memorial for Katherine Teeter Dearring to me? She was my 2nd Great Grandmother.

Thank you!

Dear Dave,
Thank you so much for transferring the memorial of Amanda Derr Quinn to Melissa, as she is the one who is in closer relationship to Amanda. I would have transferred her to Melissa, tho, had you transferred her to me.

Now on the Neers, Fannie and Grant were not the ones who made the sweet popcorn tho my mom knew them and did speak highly of them saying how kind they were. My mom was around 12 when Grant passed away. But it is likely one of their sons and his wife, but I cannot remember their names. Perhaps Lowell may know who lived nearby my mom's family in the 1940's. If I find it in any notes from my mom I will be sure to let you know.
Those pies do look yummy! You better get the recipes as people may be asking for them. :)
Have a beautiful week. God bless.
Your Friend Always,

RE: William Hoskins
Thanks for the kind words on searching for Wm. Hoskins grave. I think some people get irritated when I post a photo of a burial location which shows an unmarked grave, but "if it ain't there, it ain't there". I would rather have a photograph showing no headstone and the burial location than be kept in limbo for years waiting for a photo request that is never answered. It sounds as if you have experience in volunteer Find-a-Grave photography!

Frederick Derr
Sorry, the link did not work for Frederick. Here is another try for your convenience.
Frederick Derr
Hopefully this works this time. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't for some reason. I'm sure it is something I typed wrong. It will be in your edits tho.
Thanks for your help. Marylee~*

Derr-Quinn and Neer Families
Dear Dave,
I have placed a link request for Amanda Sophia Derr Quinn to her father Frederick Derr. I have been helping a distant cousin in the Derr line research her family and found the memorials linked on Ancestry. Amanda Sophia was only about 14 days shy of eight months old when her father was killed in action in the Civil War in Virginia. She is the child of Frederick's second marriage. I have requested for the member to link Frederick to Eliza. The woman is melissa♥ who I have been helping.
As I was reviewing your memorials in the Derr search I saw you are related to the Neers of Mechanicsburg, Ohio. My mother was Meriel Steinberger (Sterling) who grew up in Springfield and then South Vienna, Ohio and knew the Neers. She passed away in Oct. 2014 and I can"t clarify this w/ her but I do know she spoke very highly of the Neers. I believe my mom's family would go to the Neers some times and Mrs. Neer would fix pop corn with a light coating of sugar on the popcorn. Mom loved it so much on their visits. Seems to me that there were two daughters and when they out grew their dresses Mrs. Neer would give them to my mom's mother Alice Steinberger (her father is Ralph Steinberger). The dresses were the perfect size for her older sister Joanne. My mom said that sometimes Mr. Neer would bring a huge burlap bag of popcorn kernels over to her parents in exchange for dairy products like milk and butter. I remember mom talking about them a lot very fondly. I saw Fannie is on the site as well as Grant and requested that they be linked for you. I wish you and your family the best. God Bless.
Best Regards,

David Ziegler

I do not have his year of birth or the year he passed away however I found his plot location.

It is FII -260-#2 at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Glendale, Queens, New York. 718-366-5900

I was wondering how to find his date of birth or when he passed away? Any help would be appreciated.

Thank You,
Dorry Siegler
