I am glad to be a member of findagrave.com.
I work with our local historical museum and
library and I love working with historical records. I have found several of my immediate family who were not on the site and have been
busy trying to get them included.
I have lost my TWO precious SONS who were GONE TOO SOON and so this is especially close to my heart. I love and Miss them every single day.
This site is so full of loving, caring people.
Thanks to everyone who stops by and leaves flowers. I try to send thank you notes, but sometimes I miss someone. Bless Each and Everyone of You.

I found your contribution on Esther and was really excited because the two men that she married are on the same family tree that I'm working on! I was wondering if you have a good picture of Esther that you could share with me to put on the MyFamilyOnline website with the Jacobsen and Andersen lines. Take a peek at:
If you're willing, contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Dearest Esther, would you mind if I put your Husband Donald on my virtual cemetery list,as Dad's Navy Buddy ? If he was on the Columbia, when the kamikaze plane hit, then I'm sure they had to have met.I will turn on my public messages so we can communicate.May GOD Bless-Donna

Thank you for all your wonderful, caring messages. They really mean a lot to me.
My back is doing better and I'm hoping at my next appt (5/1) they tell me I don't need the surgery now after all. The MRI they had me do last month showed further deterioration and more protruding discs, but I'm able to walk now and have little pain, so we'll see what they say.
The worst is missing my mom. My first tulip blossomed today, and I wanted to call and tell her. And last week my cherry tree was in full bloom and I wanted to take a picture to send her. Every day something else comes up that I want to tell her or show her. The will cleared probate on Friday and I'm going up again to work on cleaning out the house some more. Last time I brought a lot more stuff back and left 5 huge bags of my mom's clothes and stuff for the Vietnam Vets of America to p/u. I'm going to bring more stuff back this trip. I hope I can also find someone to buy the house, even tho it'll be a while before it's empty. We moved into that house in 1948; David and I grew up there. There are so many memories in the house, and this trip I'll be alone, because everyone else is vacationing. I'll visit the 103 y/o neighbor again; my mom was her best friend for over 60 years, and she's just lost now. She can barely see or hear, but does well. I can't believe she's still living in that house, but she doesn't want to move in with either of the kids. I don't blame her.
I don't know if I'll go see my mom & dad this trip or not. I did last visit and really lost it. I'll see how I feel, I guess.
Thanks again, friend. You're very special.
