Bio and Links
Bio Photo I feel these memorial should be maintained by family whenever possible. With that in mind, if I am not personally related to the person, I will be happy to transfer the memorial.

I spend most of my free time working on my Family history and find roaming old cemeteries is amazing. Some of the headstones I see are nearly unreadable, some are eroded to the point they can no longer be read. This saddens me knowing they are lost forever, no one will ever know who they were. By taking photos and sharing the info, maybe someone who is searching will find who they are seeking.

Those we love remain with us for love itself lives on. Cherished memories will never fade, because ones loved is gone. Those we love can never be, more than a thought apart, for as long as there is a memory, they live with in our heart.

Obituary for Susan Morgan Clay
I would like permission to copy the obituary that you have pasted to Susan Morgan Clay and then to use as a source for information in my personal genealogical database. She was my 3rd great-grandmother through her daughter, Mary Ellender Groff, from her first marriage to Henry B Groff. This obituary provides me information on her that I had not previously been able to obtain.

RE: Bryson Transfers
I love to go through these really old cemeteries. The old tombstones can be so pretty.

Thanks again, Carolyn

RE: Brysons
Thank you so much. I probably will. This is a really big family. The one I am on right now had 15 children and these 3 were some of them. Yikes!!
I haven't a clue how you would take care of that many kids. Guess the older ones help with the younger ones, but back then? Had to be really hard.

I created my memorial from a list that simply says "Compiled from records by E. M. Whetsel". At least the majority of her entries have proven correct so far, as people have photographed the memorials for me, but there's certainly room for error. Since you have a photographed headstone and he's in the same cemetery as a parent, I would be inclined to say your memorial is the accurate one. I would be happy to go ahead and delete mine, or if you would rather wait for a photo request, or anything, to confirm he's not there, I can hold off or transfer to you to do with as you like.

RE: Lillie Bessie Oliver 142755416
Thank you. I had Lillie Oliver in my tree, but did not have her middle name. I have now added her obit from Find A Grave and show her burial at Sand Flat Cemetery.

I appreciate you letter me know about Lillie. I think I have most of her brothers and sisters in my tree, but will check more closely. Find A Grave said there were two brother born after her death in 1914.

Your profile
By the way, I read your profile after I sent other message, I like it. I too do not understand people having memorials on their profile page just for the numbers.
I also think even if they are not family the memorial should be maintained by someone in the area of the cemetery if possible.

Mrs. Bevels
I am trying to get Mount Hope up to date on Find A Grave. I have a book published in 1995 with the names in the cemetery up to that date. I have been using that book to put names on Find A Grave. There are some 125 I would guess that are listed as unknown location, Mrs. Bevels is one of those names. It is spelled in the book as Bevelz.
Anyway, I put those names on Find A Grave hoping someone would find them and maybe could put some light on to location or other information. This is the 4th one someone has responded to. The others were not even actually in Mount Hope but were supposed to be in another cemetery.
