Bio and Links
Bio Photo A love for family history started when my 6th grade teacher asked us to make a family tree.
I talked to my grandparents and wrote letters.
Then one of my Great Aunt's decided to do a book on her side of the family. This ended up in 4 books.
An Aunt and I decided to go visit cemetery's and look into old records. It has been fun to get more pieces of the puzzle.

Pictures are so much more fun than just names. Thank you to those of you who have added pictures and stories.

Several years ago when my younger sister than about age 10 went with me to the old Tinkham cemetery in Indiana and she said,"Doesn't anyone love these people anymore." No one they knew was living, we were their closest relatives.

Thank you to all of you who have worked so hard and gathered so much information.

Pictures are all copyrighted and are from the family collection. You may use them but please list source.

RE: I agree
I agree! This man should be in the famous category! I have not written anything but have two articles written about J.W. Hancock by Dan G. and another by Dennis Donath. Both men are from the Prescott area and would probably do it for us.
It is good to hear from you! Jackie

Dr. Joseph W. Hancock
Hi, I would like to have you transfer Dr. Hancock's site to me if possible. If not, I will give you all of the information on this famous Ellsworth citizen. I have his biography, birth and death including names of his wife, and other relatives who live in Red Wing and Ellsworth. Thanks, Jackie

Hello,
I see you sent me another message. I wasn't sure of the number you sent me. Is it his mother or father's number 83034067?
Thanks for sending me a message.

Louisa Emma Lenora
Hllo,
My name is Kathie and I documented all the names out at the Hammond Cemetery. As far as Louisa goes it is three first and middle names. I do not have her last name and I am still searching to find out what her last name is. I am hoping to find this, and would love to have help. She is the only one in the Cemetery that doesn't have a last name. She is German desent. I had a friend who is from Germany varify this. Thanks for sending a message to me.
