I am an ardent genealogist with a love of history. I want to help document everything I can for the historical record. |
I will be happy to transfer memorials, with the exception of those that are for my family members or any that hold deep personal interest for me. Just drop me a note.
You have my permission to use any marker photos of your family members for your personal use. HOWEVER, that means using the marker photos I have taken for your personal use ONLY. That is not blanket permission to use any photo on Find A Grave. Please ask the other photographers for their permission. Thanks!
Cherish it, my friend; preserve it, my friend,
For stones sometimes crumble to dust
And generations of folks yet to come
Will be grateful for your trust.

|Mathis||Seal Family Cemetary|
The Seal family cemetery is a private family cemetery. Not for anyone from Tennessee or anyone that migrated from Tennessee. You have to be part of the family tree of "Seal's". My husbands grandmother's parents started this cemetery in the last 30's or early 40's.You have to be part of the Seal family tree.Which Lillie Seal (Hubands grandmother and grandfather) married Charlie Mathis. So this is a "PRIVATE FAMILY CEMETERY". So please treat with respect and remove or state the true facts.As you are causing strangers to contact us wanting free burial ground, We do not sell grave sites to anyone at all.Burial sites are for family members only. Mathis

|Fred Sanford||Re: Montevideo and John PC Peter|
On the assumption that you created the cemetery on Find A Grave for Montevideo, I'd like to discuss some adjustments if possible. Robert Peter originally owned the land in the later 1700s and his descendants such as his sons Thomas and Major George Peter each built a summer home (or mansion) nearby. It was the wife of Thomas who was the granddaughter of Martha Washington, as well as the daughter of a big Maryland family. John PC Peter I built Montevideo as a residence which was intended to be similar to his father Toms mansion in Georgetown - Tudor Place - which has ties to Mt. Vernon. That's it in a nutshell. I wonder of there's a way to change your description to reflect this? Thanks, Fred

Another son Thomas built one close by as well and it was his wife who was the granddaughter of Martha Washington as well as the daughter of a big Maryland family. |Marti Suddarth||Samuel S. and Anna (Rawlings) Trundle|
Thank you so much for creating memorials to my gr-gr-gr-gr-grandparents, Samuel S. Trundle and Anna Rawlings Trundle in the Hays Family Cemetery in Montgomery County, MD. I had years of birth for both but no dates of death. I appreciate the time and effort you put into preserving the information!
|Russell Cromwell||RE: Comfort Cromwell|
Thanks, I know the grave is very old. Comfort Dorsey (Cromwell) also had a daughter named Comfort Cromwell (1751-1787) the grave could be her instead of her mother but I am not sure.
|Russell Cromwell||Comfort Cromwell|
I noticed that there are no dates for Comfort Cromwell. Is there no headstone? I am asking because I have a Comfort Cromwell that was my GGGGGG Grandmother Born 3 July 1710 Died 12 July 1787. Her maiden name was Dorsey and she was married to Joseph Cromwell (21 August 1707- 12 Oct. 1769)
Any help solving this would be great.
|Don Davis||Re: Late George F. Hatch|
Great to see the final resting place of an old family friend. George lived with my late great grandparents James and Flavia Davis in Colborne, Ontario.
Have you seen these letters, some of which are from George: http://www.canadianletters.ca/results.php?searchFor=colborne&x=0&y=0
I met George a few times....quite a unique gentleman.

|Margaret||RE: Pefley records|
Thanks Jane - was concerned that a message on the memorial for Daniel Pefley stated no photos of the entrance - thanks for your reply.

Jane - Please allow photos of the Mountview on the records for Jennie and Daniel Pefley in the Mountview Cemetery at Billings. They are my Grandfather's niece and husband, and would like to allow photos since we live near Seattle and unable to make a personal visit. Thanks. Margaret
