Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a retired mechanic-truck driver and a former Marine Veteran, 1965-1969. Charlie Battery, 1st Battalion, 12th Marines, 3rd Division, Vietnam DMZ 2 tours 1966-1968.
I try to take the most legible pictures I can. I believe in recording history for future generations. This is the best way I know to HONOR and Remember the deceased. I am adding memorials from books and graveyards so others can find their friends and family members.
If you would like some one transferred to you just ask. -(USE THE EDIT TAB)- on the memorial you want transfered. Glad to do links and I will add obituaries to BIO section also. (USE THE EDIT TAB!)
If I can help you with information let me know.

Semper Fidelis Sgt. Ed Elstan

Any pictures I have added you are welcome to use them for your personal use.

Alice
Service
I understand that but haven't you done a lot of things since then that you are also proud of? When I think of my husband's life, I think of his time in the service just as a part of it not the sum of it. He has worked most of his life and we have raised with a lot of difficulty six children and lost two of them. We have been through a lot of difficult times and the years he spent in the service were just a small part of it. I know he is proud of the time in his service and he had two brothers who also served their time in the war but as I said, I just think of it as a part of their life and not the sum of it. He or they were not career servicemen nor did they die in the military but they did their best and served their time. They were not ashamed of serving but they also did other things that I am proud of.

DON SHARP
Spence/Sharp photos
Ed,
Thanks for the great marker photos and especially for the additional photos I had not expected. I'm trying to solve Johnnie Sharp...he is from KY and I can't find any connection yet. I've sent an email to his granddaughter in Ky for some answers any Mary Ann's maiden name. Another puzzle to solve.
Thanks again,
Don

RE: Sardis
It was nice to get out of the house. This was the best day I've had in 6 weeks.
