==============================

I am retired so I have time to walk through the cemeteries and take pictures. In mid July 2010 I started a project to record as many memorials for the cemeteries in my county (Broome, NY) with pictures that I could. This project is drawing to a close. I have completed all the cemeteries that I am working on. There are still 4 other cemeteries being worked on by others. I have moved on to cemeteries in Susquehanna PA and Tioga NY.

The following link will show all the cemeteries in the surrounding counties photographed (by me and others!) and added to Find A Grave:

Broome County NY Cemeteries
Tioga County NY Cemeteries
Susquehanna County PA Cemeteries

Thanks, Paul. Yes, I'm talking about McKeeby Cemetery. Now I understand why he wasn't buried at Friendsville; I had not made the Quaker connection and now it makes sense. I presume that the Quaker Churchyard on the map is at Friendsville. I don't see Friendsville stated on the map.

This really helps. Is McKeeby Cemetery visible from the road and easy to locate, or do you have to know where you're going? Sorry to have so many questions.

I really appreciate your assistance!

I'm not sure of source showing that Elijah Ames was the father of Lydia. If you have info proving Elijah was Lydia's father, would be grateful if you could share information. I don't believe, at this time, that this relationship has been proven. Thanks.

Thank you SO MUCH for this photo! I just ran across it and the memorial. I've looked for this grave for years and never really knew what cemetery to look in. Is this close at all to Friendsville? That is the place of death given in our family Bible records.

I really appreciate your work!

Thank you!
Hi, Paul. We seem to be crossing paths in various cemeteries throughout the area. I really appreciate all of the updates you are approving based on my research for the Irish Settlement families of Bradford, Sullivan, and Wyoming counties that have carried over to various other places. You work has helped me verify and validate quite a bit of my own work. Thanks again!
