UPDATED August 29, 2015|
THANK YOU to everybody who visited my mom for her Angel Day on the 8th...it was greatly appreciated.
Gannon and I hope that you're all having a great summer!
I would like to note that I may be offline for the majority of September due to surgery and follow up issues, but I truly will try my best to update my page, as well as visit your loved ones. I am always humbled at how many of you continue to visit my many pages knowing that there is only a hit and miss chance that I will reciprocate the kindness, right now...but I do my best to pass on your loved ones names and dates to everybody on my friends' list, and I hope that that brings a few folks your way. As I always say, if you are looking for some new and interesting stories, PLEASE GO THROUGH MY MESSAGES...that's why I leave them up. I try to highlight as many as those names as I can, but again, my routine absences from the site have brought quite a backlog of names to go through, and it might be best to just strike out on your own, as you scan down my messages.
A special THANK YOU to Kelly, Jake and Jim for helping me with my computer work and name updates!
Here is a HERO whom has received only a few visits in the two years that his page has been on this site:
Thomas Allen Baysore, Jr.
Here is another angel in need of flowers and visits:
Paul M. Stanik
This angel does not have a pending special day, but needs flowers, as well:
Arlene P. Hoey Sabel

Officer Daryle Stephen Holloway

This little guy has only a few tokens:
My brother Ron has an ANGEL DAY on July 3/4 (he died during the night, and exact time is unknown), and I was asked to keep the link up to his page; THANK YOU for all of your thoughts and prayers for my family members. =) I just put a poem of mine on Ron's page that will tell a bit more about my brother's short time here, if you'd like to read it - it's - as Ron would have said - the cold as Chicago winter wind truth, and he was very brave to live through everything he did. Here is Ron's link:
Ronald Lucien 'Ron' Poynter, Jr.
Please remember that I have some assistance on the site right now, due to my eyes...so if it doesn't quite sound like me in replies, fear not. It is me, I promise, and my friend is just trying to get my rapid fire chatter down as sensibly as possible. ha!
LOVE ONE ANOTHER! =)
Bio: My son Gannon and I live outside Los Angeles, but we are from Chicago/Jersey/New York; we have traveled extensively in our lives and are only off the road for now due to medical issues - but I sure hope to be able to hit the road again, someday. =) I am widowed, and I write for a living; I am very lucky to be able to work at home and therefore be with Gannon 24/7; he is seriously physically and mentally disabled, and most of my friends on here already know how I feel about Gannon...If I leave anything behind that is good, it will be because Gannon made me a better person. It is an honor to be his mother. We are interested in charity work and support Wounded Warriors, Make A Wish, Toys for Tots, The Huntington's Disease Foundation, The Michael J. Fox Foundation; all programs for poverty and below poverty level families in America; Feed America, Books For Inmates, and more. We also have a soft spot for animal welfare programs, and sincerely believe the quote that "If you want to know a man's true character, study how he treats an animal." Lastly, I hope that my work on here will answer questions, bring reunions and pay tribute to those gone, but not forgotten.
"Pray for the dead, and fight like hell for the living." - MOTHER JONES

Not too much going on. I was laid off until mid Sept. so I have free time for a little while. Been working on a new book, so I have been excited about that.
Well, just wanted to say "Hi" and let you know that I got your message. It is good hearing from ya.
Take care and God bless.

Dear Rhonda and sweet Gannon, just a line to say you both are in my prayers. Love the new pictures , Gannon's smiles make my day. We've been on a 8,500 mile trip placing stones on family so I'm behind on flowering memorials but, hoping to catch up.
