I have been working on my family history since about 2004, but have just recently begun using Find A Grave. I am excited by the possibilities Find A Grave offers for sharing information and making new discoveries. Surnames I am working on in particular are Ripke, Nehring, Anderson, Hubbard, Brewer, Brown, Wright, Scharff, Rahn, Carter and Robbins.|

|Suzy & Rob||Delia Wardner & Melvin Rust|
I have linked Delia and Melvin to their mother, Mary Foote Rust, but, I'm sorry, I cannot link to their father because his burial location is unknown.
Just passing on some info from the Find A Grave guidelines:
"Find a Grave's mission is to find, record and present final disposition information from around the world as a virtual cemetery experience.
"Memorial contributions to Find A Grave should fulfill that mission - registration of the final disposition.
"Find A Grave is a resource for anyone in finding the final disposition of family, friends, and ‘famous' individuals."
"Location of body unknown should only be used for recent deaths where the disposition is not yet known. Final disposition should be determined and updated within 30 days."
Not trying to really be a stickler or cause ill will but you really should not have made memorials for Delia and Melvin's father. Find A Grave isn't a genealogy site for linking all known members of a family together. It's a place where people can come to FIND a GRAVE. So creating memorials that don't accomplish that goal really kind of defeats the purpose of the site.
Thank you very much. Please keep my in mind if any further Karls (or Carls) info comes up. Bob Karls

Thank you very much for the photo of my great-grandfather's (A A Wood) headstone. I live on the west coast and have never had the opportunity to visit Timber Lake. He lived out here with us in his last years, but wanted to be buried back in his hometown of Timber Lake.
