Bio and Links
Bio Photo I joined FAG after finding this website while working on my genealogy. Since most of my family is on Long Island and I am in Delaware, I could understand the value in volunteering to document and photograph graves in my area. I have always liked cemeteries and now I have an excuse to stroll through them.

I will apologize up front if I offend anyone by adding a photo to a memorial that already has one, but I feel it is important to have good documentation of headstones for those searching for their ancestors' graves. If my photo is clearer or taken at a better angle, I will add it. Conversely, if my photo shows marked deterioration I will add it to document that.

I have a 1900 census that has her DOB 'Feb 1872'. Is there documentation of her DOB? I really would appreciate any help. -Robin

I've been searching online but my prospective DAR member has been contacting people on Long Island.

Thanks so much. We are struggling to find documents but we haven't given up yet!

Again I really appreciate you taking a new photo of Jonathan's gravestone. Unfortunately it is still not clear enough for DAR standards. I wish I could go up there personally :-) Just found a method of putting foil on the stone and brushing it with a makeup brush. The letters become very clear - amazing.

I really appreciate you taking a new photo of Mary's gravestone. Unfortunately it is still not clear enough for DAR standards. Those old gravestones are so difficult to read!

Thank you for correcting your memorial for Hannah Wells. As you noted, the info you posted was for a different Hannah Wells. Enjoy your new hobby.

RE: Elizabeth Beebe
That's very possible, Gail. I just don't know. I don't know why we haven't done more research on this line - especially as there are Connecticut records. I'm looking at the Beebe's right now trying to figure out something and hopefully I will remember to come back to the Warner's and do more research. Maybe find that link to your Warner's! :-)

Thanks again for allowing me to use your picture. I did make sure to credit you for it.
