Bio Photo My wife and I have been married for the past 30 years. We are retired, live near the temperate Central California coast, and enjoy collecting antique glassware from the early 1900's. I became aware of Find A Grave and wanted to volunteer. I appreciate how important it is to have a gravestone picture to help complete the story of your ancestors. I want to make that happen for many other people. I've also rediscovered that I like photography.

USE THE EDIT TAB for whatever you want me to do. PLEASE don't send me an email.

If you want me to transfer a memorial to you, just be related to that person, and DON'T FORGET TO USE THE EDIT BUTTON, that's all. If I'm related, too, I may keep them. I'm not going to get uptight about transferring. Happy Volunteering.

RE: Anna Habib
Hi- I had placed a caption on the photo which is an area photo "Her date of death is not on the stone as of 4/24/2015 nor is there a temporary marker", the same photo I placed on her husband's memorial. I thought I would leave room for the photo of her marker once it's installed. If you'd like I can add the marker photo from her husband's memorial too but there's nothing on it.

RE: Photo request for Lillian Ross

Problem solved. The SLOCGS was very helpful and the photo was sent along promptly and is now posted on Lillian's memorial.

Thanks again.

Thank you very much for not only telling me that the owner of the cemetery is hostle to photo takers, but more importantly, how to obtain those photos by other means. I'll follow your advice. I very much appreciate what you do for the Find a Grave project.

RE: Photo request for Lillian Ross

Thank you. This is a first for me. I have never run into someone who would call the police if they tried to take a photo of a gravestone. Interesting problem.

I'll do as you suggest. Again thanks for the background info and the suggestion.

Best regards,

RE: Olive Ames
That is an interesting puzzle.
Next week when I'm back in town I'll look at it.
a. She kept her "maiden" (or other) name, and did not change to Skanes.
b. Or, since he died in 1962, she remarried to Ames, but already had a grave reserved for her.
I'm putting my bet on B.
