If you are interested in one of the memorials, at St. Joseph's OLD Cemetery, Wayland, NY, please send me an email with the name of the person you are requesting included. I will get back to you as soon as I can. I have photographed all of the headstones in the cemetery and with the exception of persons still living, ALL are posted on the memorial. If there isn't a photo on the memorial of a headstone, there isn't a headstone for that person. Plot numbers for this cemetery are not recorded anywhere except with ME. So if you need info about a plot number, please feel free to ask me.
First digit is the section number 1-4. Sections are numbered East to West starting at Deiter Rd.
Next 2 digits are the row number, also numbered East to West, except for section 4 which the rows are numbered North to South from State Route 63.
The 4th digit is 1 or 2 letters. If there are more than 24 graves in a row there are 2 letters and the first is either A or B. (I & O are skipped). Headstones in each row are number from the driveway across back of the cemetery, toward State Route 63 except section 4. Where graves are lettered West to East starting from the backside of section 3.
If there is another digit at the end of the plot number, there are more than 2 names/graves on the same headstone or in the plot. Again, if you have a question about plot numbers, please email ME. NB: The Parish Office has NO info about plot numbers at this cemetery.

In St. Joseph's New Cemetery & St. Pius V New Cemetery in Cohocton, the plots are numbered simply Sect ... Then a Roman Numeral .. I. II, III, ect. Then a one - three digit number for the site & last the grave number. In St. Joseph's they go from 1 thru 8. At St.Pius they are numbered sequentially thru the section.

Ellen Barillo
Thank you so much for the great photos. The note on Ellen's photo says she shares the marker with her husband. Could you please add the photo to his memorial?

I used to be a photo volunteer but my knees have given out on me so I can't get out like I used to. I appreciate all your hard work.

RE: Saint Isidore Catholic Cemetery
It has been a number of years since been there but pretty sure this is it:

54.863956, -112.346083

It is just a bit north of where it is currently shown.

Didas Family Lineage
Hello Joshua.

For information, the Didas family link edits I have made suggestions on, for all Didas Family memorials (FAGr), have all been accepted but say 12 or so. The total of Didas family memorials on all of FAGr is 139 memorials. I say this on our post so if any are incorrect, educational comments' can be directed at me, and not other memorial managers. :|. The edits for the links I found very helpful keeping the branches correct. You were helpful on edits sent to you.

Signed
A friendly Graver,

Greg

PS
I have the edit on Page 22 on my list, thanks.

I removed an image from Sarah Wheaton, 101358429, to make room for your headstone image.

She's my great, great grandmother and I've visited her grave numerous times...and never took a photo!

Thanks.

RE: Margaret Didas' obit.
The Obit showed up for me on the Thomas M Trinski search server, Old Fulton New York Post Cards at http://fultonhistory.com/ That source is an invaluable resource. I searched for her for a long time. I am doing well thank you, and you? two questions and two comments. Comment- Rosamond Thielges search had led my search into many branches of the Didas family as I tried to find her family ties, that is why my activity on those branches. I spent a lot of time to confirm her children as Margret's 1910 Census said she had two children, that was not correct though. Question one, her second son, Joseph M, would you know of where his burial is?. Question 2 - Find A Grave volunteer Sharon, I see her profile is inactive since maybe March or May, have you heard from her on any memorials? Comment 2 - Just FYI, Namesakes of my Grandma Rosamond Ordance Kuhn Hetzler. Grandma was named after her Aunt Rosamond Thielges Didas and her grandmother Ordenza Dietsche Thielges.

Not sure how to remove my edit or ask you for tranfer of memorial. I have added an obituary to Barbara Weinhart. This also shows her age and info on death.
