What began as a way to memorialize only members of my family has turned into something larger and seemingly open-ended. Most of my memorials are not for my relatives.|
I have done extensive work in the following cemeteries:
Calvary Cemetery, West Chicago, Illinois
East Batavia Cemetery, Batavia, Illinois
Glen Oak Cemetery, West Chicago, Illinois
Marywood Cemetery, Aurora, Illinois
Oakwood Cemetery, West Chicago, Illinois
Saint John the Baptist Cemetery, Winfield, Illinois
West Batavia Cemetery, Batavia, Illinois
I have tried to add as much information as is readily available. I will gladly make corrections or add information. I try to process requests as quickly as possible, but please allow the recommended time. Please do not use flowers for these purposes. Doing so is against FindAGrave guidelines. Flowers are to be tokens of respect; flowers left for any other purpose will be reported.
Feel free to use any of my photographs for non-commercial use, but please give credit where credit is due.
Thank you to those who have added photographs and flowers to my memorials. They are appreciated. Please add appropriate photographs to any of my memorials, and I would very much like to know that you have done so. I would like to see the photographs myself.
Out-of-guidelines transfer requests will be evaluated individually. Please do not take me to task if I do not transfer when such a request is made. Inappropriate or abusive comments will be reported.
"The ultimate goal should be to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it."

I used to live about 4 blocks from this cemetery on Blaine St. I wish I had done my genealogy research at that time!! Now in TN. Thank you for looking for a marker for Ella. I believe it was from the obituary that I obtained my information also. I do appreciate all the time you have put in to look for this. It has established that there is no marker and I made a notation on the memorial as such.

Hello, again. Many thanks for drawing my attention to corrections needed on Mr. Carey’s Find-A-Grave Memorial. I have made corrections, but please proof it for me. If you see anything else that needs to be done, don’t hesitate to let me know. Also, I have included a memorial for his wife, Mary. Thanks again. I sincerely appreciate you letting me know. I strive to put love and care into each memorial, but mistakes happen. I must have been half asleep when I did this and intended to come back, but never did. Bless you!
Thanks for the correction. I got that information from another site and didn't even recognize the conflicting information in the obit. I have made the corrections.

Many thanks for locating the burial place of John Burnett (Memorial# 93307305). His Death record does show born at Raxford, Devon - but I believe he was born at Ruxford, Sandford, Devon.
Thanks again for your help.
