Bio Photo What began as a way to memorialize only members of my family has turned into something larger and seemingly open-ended. Most of my memorials are not for my relatives.

I have helped to inventory and photograph two cemeteries in their entirety: East Batavia Cemetery in Batavia, Illinois and Oakwood Cemetery in West Chicago, Illinois. I also have done extensive work in Calvary Cemetery and Glen Oak Cemetery in West Chicago, Illinois.

I have tried to add as much information as is readily available. I will gladly make corrections or add information. I try to process requests as quickly as possible, but please allow the recommended time. Please do NOT use flowers for these purposes. Doing so is against FindAGrave guidelines. Flowers are to be tokens of respect; flowers left for any other purpose will be reported.

If my memorial indicates "No headstone.", please be assured that there is no headstone. I make such a determination only after careful examination of the plot and cemetery.

Feel free to use any of my photographs for non-commercial use, but please give credit where credit is due.

Thank you to those who have added photographs and flowers to my memorials. They are appreciated. Please add appropriate photographs to any of my memorials, and I would very much like to know that you have done so. I would like to see the photographs myself.

Out-of-guidelines transfer requests will be evaluated individually. Please do not take me to task if I do not transfer when such a request is made. Inappropriate or abusive comments will be reported.

"The ultimate goal should be to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it."

Thanks for the tip! My error has been corrected.

Have no clue what I was thinking when I attached that relationship; this is my direct line!

RE: Carl Lindblom Photo
I agree - it does look like a marker was there at one time. Also wanted to let you know the niche is shared with Lotta Lindblom Mathisen memorial # 85461292. I will add the note and photo tonight.

Mathilda Daleidon dup
Hi, thank you for heads up. I contacted the holder of her duplicate page, he transferred to me, I moved all my information over, and deleted mine.

Your suggestion:
This memorial belongs in Calvary Cemetery, Springfield, Sangamon County, Illinois. You will find a memorial there for Sr Mary Urban Daleiden #117591122.

Matilda and Junius Putney
Thank you so much for transferring Matilda to me and for your comment regarding her husband, Junius! I was wondering why I couldn't find a record of his burial there. I also believe that he's likely to be buried at East Batavia. In addition to the death record, he and Matilda lived very close to that cemetery (at 231 Logan). It's a shame about the burial records!

RE: Corcoran Photo
You are welcome. It is interesting to note that the Rockford newspaper had her as being buried at Calvary Cemetery, the final resting place of her parents. The cemetery office did confirm the proper location of her burial.
Glad I could help. Jim

Sidney Orr's Mother is not Mary Soule but Angeline Anderson. I corrected Sidney's Memorial-

RE: Headstone Photo for Walter John Marecki, Jr
I went to St Adalbert's Cemetery and I searched quite extensively. I feel confident to say there is no grave stone for Walter Marecki Jr. Just the head stone I found previously. Sorry I could not do more.
