J, I created a memorial for James Jr. and I thought I would ask before just transferring it if you would like it since you have his parents?

Tsk, don't say such a thing! I'm not too far behind you. So you have some Nicholson in you! It's great that you know your line hails from England. My Nicholson line is impossible to figure out. There are so many of us that have researched it, and we all end up in the 1700's in Pennsylvania. Can't get back any further.
Some say they were from the Isle of Skye, but that can't be proven. I wish my father (Samuel Nicholson) would do the Clan MacNichol DNA project, but he's apprehensive about putting his DNA out there for anyone to get a hold of. He is my last link, so I'm hoping he does before he is also with the ancestors! ;)

It is odd to think though that your line comes from England but my line came from who knows where, and yet these relatives lived side by side in Fayette County.

Keep in touch Jim, great to talk to you,
Julie

I agree with you, that is must be a typo on the age. Would you like me to transfer this to you?
Just let me know,
Thanks!
Julie

Hi, Respectfully ... I manage over 70,000 records on here. If you want a change to one please go to that record and hit the edit tab in the upper right hand corner and make your request from there. That way I don't have to do a search which takes time. :-)

Thanks, Russ

All I had to go by was the Pennsylvania, Veterans Burial Record. If you are convinced he is not buried there, I will change to Unknown Burial.

Thanks for the update, Bill

Just wondering, but do you have any documents stating he was born in Munich? I found his declaration of intent to become an American citizen and it stated he was from Einselthum in the Rheinland- Pfalz.
