I love genealogy research and walking through the cemeteries. If you find something I've uploaded and would like it turned over to you, just email me. |
I've finished photographing Riverside Cemetery in Waterbury. Their records are difficult to obtain and the sections are not marked. It's going to be a long project. Sadly, vandals have been destroying the monuments and stones. I am making every attempt to get them documented before they are destroyed. I have close to 8000 photos to upload for Riverside. I will be creating pages for missing people throughout the winter.
There have many times; too often for coincidence, that I'm having trouble finding a stone. I simply state "I cannot help your family honor you without your help" only to take follow in a direction I'm pulled to find the stone below my feet. I firmly believe the deceased can communicate. Sometimes, it's just best to stop and listen to what they have to tell us!
Update: I am now a trustee on the Board of Directors for Riverside Cemetery in Waterbury, CT. If you need specific information please go to our website www.riversidecemeteryct.org

I love everything you do.
Correx for some CT Whites. I am a direct ancestor.
Jacob Watson White
Luther Chapin White (1821 - 1893)*
Cannot be a child of Jacob Watson White. That would make the dad only 1 when he had his son. It sooooo hard when their first names and last names are soooo similar.
LCW's dad was
Birth 27 Apr 1792 in Middletown, Middlesex, Connecticut, USA .
JWW real child was Edward Luther White
57512680. I shall work it all up. Only the most important correx need to be done. THX

Therese, You uploaded a picture of the tombstone of Edward Laurens Frisbie, Sr. and his two wives to my memorial of the son, Edward, Jr. Some one has created memorials for Edward, Sr. and wives. You need to remove picture and upload to correct memorials. R.J.

Thanks so much for the headstone photo of my ancestor. It doesn't look to be in the best of shape. Glad we got it entered into findagrave.

Thanks, one more time, for snagging the photo. We really appreciate it. We appreciate all the work that you are doing. It is extremely helpful to those of us that are sorting-out our family trees.
Happy New Year!
