Even as a very young child, I loved walking around the cemeteries with my grandma, Bertha Tolbert (133873460) She would show me our family's graves, as we walked them. Now I take my camera.|
I am not sitting at home with a book of obituaries, or cruising the funeral home and newspaper obituaries just to build up my numbers. Other than my family, and friends, all the memorials I create are from walking the cemeteries with my camera. I do it so someone can find their departed, and I can transfer them. I will always transfer memorials.
A sincere, heartfelt, thank you to all who visit my "loved ones" I appreciate it very much.
~ Ephesians 4:32 ~
"And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."
~ James 4:17 ~
"Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth not, to him it is sin."
~ Matthew 25:40 ~
"And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me."
Be kind one to another, for what we do to one another, we do to Jesus.
The Lord's Blessings to all

|Joanne Paisley||Joseph McNichols|
Hello Roxi, I have a question for you. Your have a memorial for a Joseph McNichols in Ebenezer Cemetery, but it does not have any dates. I do have a picture of a tombstone for a Joseph and Clara A. McNichols. His dates are 1882-1933 and hers is 1832-1971. Would these be the same? I'm going through pictures I took in 2011 and some I used in my tree and others are those around the graves I knew or thought might be related. Joanne

Thank you very much for taking these headstone pictures for me.

Thanks for the photo. I took some photos Tues., but since then it's been mighty cold.
No, I'm not a relation, I have been entering WWII dead in another location, and somehow got over to her. Genealogy goes in all directions. Sorry for your loss. She has a beautiful picture.

Could you give me your family linage back to Emily? I have worked on the McGeath family tree and would like any info, dates, names, etc. that you can provide and also so I can fit you into the tree. Thank you. Emily was my second great grandmother.
|Henry S. Dillon||Bert Dillon|
Hi again -
This Bert Dillon memorial you recently opened in the Crestview Cemetery, Barnesville, is a son of the Hugh Dillon (Memorial# 133139894) you opened last July. Hugh's wife, Bert's mother, was Mary Jane (Gallagher) Dillon. I can not locate her memorial. But she was living with Bert Dillon and his family in Barnesville in 1940 when she died. She was 79 years old in the 1940 census. Her years are 1861-1940. Perhaps you might run across her marker as well.
Henry S. Dillon
Roxie, I so enjoyed visiting the memorials of your grandparents. Nicely written and the photos are truly treasures. You certainly do practice 'be kind to one another' and it's always a pleasure working with you. thanks for being so nice!
