I am so sorry for the loss of this fine young man so many years ago. My mother was honored to wear his MIA bracelet for many years. If you like, I would be honored to mail it to you.

Hello Yvonne,
I was surprised to receive your messege.
Yes I knew your grandfather before he left for Viet Nam. In fact he and Marie lived three mobile homes from me in Dixie Mobile Home park in Radcliff Kentucky.Your father John was a small child and boy, was he cute!
Edward was a very quiet man. He was very friendly but you needed to start the conversion. I think he was kinda shy. I don't remember the exact day he left for Viet Nam as there were so many men leaving about the same time. I do remember the shock of hearing that he was missing. I received a call from Capt. Paul Dill, the survival assistence office assigned to Marie and John. I did help Marie all I could which, at times was very difficult. But we mananged. I just happened to be reading a newspaper in another city and saw the picture taken of Marie and John at the cemetery. I am truly happy that Edward has a final resting place and is at home with his God.Thank you for writing and good luck on your plans with the military.
Love Cosetta
