When I was 5yrs old I lost my dad, and when I was 16yrs old I lost my mom. I didn't know alot about my family only what I remember my mom telling me, for I don't have alot of family left. When I was 18 I had a son and decided after he was born I needed to know more about my Family, so I went to the cemetery where my mom and dad are buried and asked questions. Before I knew it I had found 3 Uncles, 3 Aunt, my Grandfather, Great Grandparents along with several of their Children. I then went to the library for their were no computers and looked up their obits cause now I had dates of Death. In the obits I was able to find family names of, next of kin. It was very confusing for they seem to use names over and over. Now with the computer it has made it a lot easier to do. And with sites like Find a Grave and Ancestry I have been able to see it all come together. Thank-you to all the volunteers for your time and effort in helping us locate our loved ones.

Henderson Name Meaning Scottish and northern Irish: patronymic from Hendry, a chiefly Scottish variant of the personal name Henry 1. Some Scottish families with this name have ancestors whose name was Henryson.
