Bio Photo I am going to add a pet peeve here. People who are only interested in numbers should at least wait a respectful time before posting a memorial to allow a family member to do just that. Posting a memorial a day prior to burial is very disrespectful of the family.

"It is said every person has three deaths.
The first is the actual physical death, when the spirit leaves the body.
The 2nd death is when the body is lowered into the grave, never again to be seen in the flesh.
The 3rd and final death comes much later, when all who knew that person have joined them in the afterlife, and the name, even existence of that person vanishes from knowledge."

For this reason I make myself available to do tombstone searches and take photos of same in my area. I have retired from active work and enjoy doing genealogy research on my family. I will attempt to locate and photograph any requests. I do not date nor watermark my photos. Permission is granted to use my photos for personal purposes only. Please contact me for other purposes.

Frank Barthel
Thanks for trying to get this for me. That is quite a large family plot. Looks like to me on some of the other Barthels they are buried elsewhere at Crown Hill. There is one that is buried in section NG and there are no stones there. Don't know what happened to the stones or if there ever were any. I have been noting in my family tree where these people are buried.

Thanks, Carolyn

Photos of the Frauers
Thank you very much! I was a trouble to you including that you had to reverse the tombstones. It is fantastic! The Frauers were an old family of druggists who had an apothecary in Indianapolis for half a century. Again, I have to thank you!
