I can not thank you enough for adding the obits to your files; however, could you please add the sources of where you found them. It would be so much appreciated. Sincerly, Dawn

I just read your note to Margaret Hobson and inquiry about the lot location. Daniel's grave is located in Row 25, south end. Row 25 is towards the back of the cemetery, which is the east side. Easy to locate as Daniel and that of Joseph's stones stand alone. Sorry the pictures were so dreary. Lighting has been less than desirable as of late, and with the holiday, felt it best to fulfill the request now despite that. Understand that your part of the country may get hit with a storm Xmas eve. We keep abreast of Boston weather as we have a daughter who lives there. Happy Holidays!

You are most welcome. You may wish to note that the surname on the stone is spelled SQUIRE as is that of the stone next to his...that of Joseph Squire. I have submitted an edit to the contributor (who is also the author noted below).
Margaret Hobson, who wrote a 2 volume book on the 44th Indiana Regiment, spelled his name in the book as SQUIRE with noted variations in the bio.
You may be also interested in knowing that in Part 2 of VOICES OF INDIANA'S 44TH REGIMENT, page 148, there is a photo of Daniel in his union uniform.

Actually I have 3 books available on the 44th Indiana. All are on Amazon.com. Thanks for asking!

Thank you for the picture of my fathers grave stone
I noticed that you have a picture of Frederick & Anna Philipp, both buried in Pine Grove cemetery in New Bedford. Can you take pictures of the headstones of Frederick's parents? I believe they are buried in the same cemetery.
Joseph Philipp b. August 1860 - d. July 15 1931.
& Wilhelmina Philipp b. November 1861 - d. October 15 1931.
Also, Anna's parents might be there as well.
William Singleton b. November 13 1875 - September 24 1933.
& Clara Singleton b. January 1876 - d. March 14 1933
It's ok if you can't find the headstones, but may I ask you how you were able to find their plots?

Thank you for taking the photo of my grandfather's tombstone so promptly. Could you also put it on my grandmother's memorial page. There is a link to her memorial on his. I'd really appreciate it. I see my cousin is keeping flowers there....I'll have to thank him. I will be putting his parents...his mother and my father were siblings, so I'll likely be putting out another picture request for them soon.
