Thank you for the transfer of my great great grandmother, Nancy R. Hemby, to me. I appreciate it very much.

I am writing a two-volume book on the 8th Indiana. I would like to include photos of the soldiers and their headstones with their biographies. I would like to use some of your photos in the book and will give you credit in the caption for each photo. If you are interested, I can let you know when the book is published. If it is ok to use your photos, could you also give you your first and last name for the captions?

My dear Ms Sternberg:
Today I write to express my profound thanks for transferring the profile of my cousin, MAJ David Mefford, to my care. Moreover for the concern you demonstrate in composing so many quality profiles for lost souls.
Your gentile character and spirit of caring makes me proud to be part of the same organization as you. Someday I hope to be in a position to reciprocate your kindness.
May I take the liberty of adding you to my Find A Grave Friends List? Or, should you require any look-ups in the proximity of the LOC, NARA, or the DAR Library please don't hesitate to contact me for any assistance you may require.

Absolutely! But please credit my father, James Levi Garrison, Sr. - the picture was found by him. I'm not sure, though, where he obtained it, so he technically didn't own it either. Thanks!

Thank you for your many valuable contributions. I have just discovered this memorial you made for Avis (Elliott) Ruddick in Liberty Cemetery, Garfield, Benton Co. AR. Do you have any further info on her relationship to the Elliott family in Ray Co. MO? I have been told her sister, Julia, was a survivor of the Trail of Tears, so there must be a Cherokee connection. I would love to discover what that is. Avis' brother, Robert A. Elliott in Washington Co. (next to Benton Co.) was my gr-grandfather. Thanks a lot. Eva Walker Myer -- email@example.com
