Photo of Gilbert and Belle Says taken c. 1910? If so, Belle would be 40 or 41 years old and Gilbert about 33. They do not look that old. I bet the photo was taken in 1910 at the time of their marriage. Gilbert would be about 23 or 24 and Belle about 31.
Thanks for sharing... Mr. Pellman, you unknowingly provided quite a chuckle for me today. I was admiring the picture of Moses Jenner, looking very dapper in his bowler hat and decided I really needed to thank you for the good work on Wises and Jenners. When I went to your page I burst out laughing to find your picture in a bowler hat too. Both you and Moses look quite the image of the well dressed man! Thx, JP in AZ.
RE: Addeline Acker Photo It was a long trip for me, too, but I was there doing my own genealogy research :) I noticed that Addaline and Charles are posted in the same cemetery with the last name Taylor. Since they're posted under both names, I think the layout where their plots are is a bit confusing. A friend who was with me took the pictures. It's difficult for me to tell from the order on the camera and the design of the markers which are Acker and which are Taylor. Just thought you'd like to know about the issue.
