RE: Andrew J. Baker
Hi Jerry

No, I am not related to the Baker's. I was fulfilling a few Find-A-Grave requests and decided to take this family plot. I made the plat map in hopes someone would be able to find their family. I also used Ancestry to track them. I could not even find out how the 2 Cambell graves are related to the Baker's.

There are lots of Baker's in Yamhill County, Oregon cemeteries. There is a family plot in the local Masonic here in McMinnville. I suspect they are all related somehow. Since the Baker's were part of the first immigrants to Oregon, information is scarce. Oregon did not become a state until 1859 on the eve of the Civil War.

I wish I could help you more. Yamhill County has a branch of the Oregon Genealogical Society that is center at our local library. Maybe they could help. We also have Yamhill County Historical Society. They can be reached at 503-864-2308 or

Good Luck in your search.

RE: Lawrence Pool
Jerry, according to the Turlock Memorial Park data she was interned on 9/24/2012. If you have more info on her I will add it or you can re-add your memorial for her and I'll delete mine. If you are a relative it might be more appropriate. Les

Prentice Family
Hi Jerry,
You have been of help in the past on the Prentice Family and I’m hoping you can help me again. I have run across information that Luther Franklin Prentice’s mother was Columbia Anna (Clarke) ((Prentice)) (F) (1846-AFT 1880), wife of Fletcher Prentice; (Fletcher, son of Isaac Prentice, Jr. AND Maria Martin) but I have no idea where the info on Columbia came from. Do you have any knowledge of this person?

Also, there has been another death in the Prentice Family; yesterday a cousin passed away, named Richard David ‘Dave’ Horn (M) (1950-2016) # 169362019
(‘Dave’ son of Lily May (Prentice) ((Horn)) (F) (1930-2005) # 147984237
AND Allen David Horn (M) 1924-2008) # 115280050).

Thanks Jerry for ANY help you are able to give me.
