I enjoy riding to and walking around cemeteries (as I am sure everyone here does), I have really enjoyed going back to Pennsylvania and West Virginia and photographing ancestors headstones.
I am hoping to photograph as many cemeteries in the Jefferson co., WI area in my free time. I have been working on Rock Lake Cemetery in Lake Mills, Wi. I take photos of the stones, then go through the memorials here and enter and or correct whatever I can. If you have any additional changes or corrections, or you would like to manage a specific memorial, let me know.
I don't mind if anyone uses my photos, that's why they're there. Just don't claim you took them.

Thank you for taking and posting the photos of his grave marker.

I verified with the cemetery office this morning that Rosa Rawson is buried at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. She is in Section A, Lot 128, Grave #5. There is no need for me to create a memorial for her since you have already done that. Could you please just move the memorial you have to the correct cemetery? Her complete dates are born May 29, 1886 and died Dec 19, 1975. You could just note on her memorial that her name is on the stone with her husband in the other cemetery.

On Glen Rabuck's Find-A-Grave memorial you state that he is Iva's 3rd Husband... Who is her 2nd Husband? I only have info on Albert Olson & Glen Rabuck. This information would be very much appreciated to add to my family tree.

Really? Who is your mom? My husband is dying of curiosity now....good to meet you cuz. We ride motorcycles, too. May have to meet up somewhere.
Thanks for the quick response. My husband has a lot of HOUGH info. Maybe you two should converse via email.

|Stephen Reed||RE: Herman Meier, memorial #12195730|
Hi Grave Rider. Thanks for your quick response. Although not "absolute proof" - I can contribute some information about memorial #12195730 and the parent's of Herman Meier.
I believe Herman is the son of Julius (memorial #12195731) and Wilhelmina (memorial #12195732) Meier, also buried in Rock Lake Cemetery.
Herman Meier (memorial #1219570), born Dec. 1887 as on the tombstone, is listed on the 1900 census with his parents Julius and Wilhelmina in Lake Mills, Wisconsin - although you must look at the actual census to see the correct DOB (Dec 1887) as the census transcription is flawed. Herman was 12 years old in Jun 1887 when the census was taken. (see https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/MMVQ-D1S)
But, the Herman Meier referred to in this memorial listing - as son of Jacob Meiers - was born Oct 1885. He is listed on the 1900 census with parents Jacob and "Lizzie" Meier in Sauk City, Wisconsin. (see https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/MM28-PHG)
There was no other Jacob Meier (or Meyer) in Wisconsin at that time which would indicate that the Jacob Meier in Sauk City distinctly matches memorial #7903111, but his son, Herman Meier, listed with him on the census does not match the dates engraved on memorial #12195730 headstone.
I would also suggest that the burial location of Herman Meier at Rock Lake Cemetery indicates a connection with Julius and Wilhelmina Meier.
I hope this helps and give some clues to the situation.
Possibly memorial #12195730 could include the speculation about his correct parentage.
Let me know if I can help look anything else up.
