RE: Harvey Doud
You are welcome. Sorry it is from last fall (thus all of the leaves on the ground) and I haven't had the time to get all of my photos uploaded to the site.

Robert Tate
I have another picture of Robert's stone. It shows his side of the stone. I did not put it on his memorial page because the date of death is not on the stone. If you want a close-up, like I did on Louise Tate's memorial, please let me know and I will put it on there.

RE: Lewis Joy - Olden-Barneveld Cemetery, Trenton Falls, Oneida, New York
Back in March 2010 -- you sent this snip: "I added memorials for the other people on the stone as well--Henry, Sarah M., Emma and Julia H. Joy. The photo of the last two is easy to see because of the lighting. The remaining side has James O. Shelley, born Aug 16 1860 and died Aug 6 1918."

I'm just now getting back to some old emails - like 2010's - and just now updated my Find A Grave entries in my database for the Joys in this cemetery.

James O. Shelley is still a mystery to me only because I'm on vacation in England and doing some email catch up while waiting for everyone to wake up!

When I get home next week, I hope to remember to recheck the Joy Genealogy that I have to see if I can find some connection to the Joy Family.

What has me curious are the 3 kids - Henry, Sarah and Emma. Since Julia was born in 1821, having a child starting in 1832 (Henry) sorta indicates to me that Lewis was married twice and he was a child from a first marriage. I've added them all as children to Lewis and Julia, but suspect the mother is wrong for Henry. Sarah is clearly indicated to be a wife of Henry, so no problem there. However, if Lewis was married previously, then who was she and where is she buried and when?

Mary E (Kerns) Jones

I found Mary's memorial today, that the photo you placed of her headstone is absolutely gorgeous!

Thank you so much for taking the time and attention to getting such a beautiful photo.

Ancestry is going to shut down the MyFamily websites on Sept 5 so if there is anything you want off the site

RE: Phineas Alden Osborn # 49031540

I believe the photo may be;

Phineas Alden Osborn 3rd
Birth 21 Dec 1846 in Clayton, Jefferson, New York, United States Death 17 May 1934 in Chaumont, Jefferson, New York, United States

The SON of Phineas Alden Osborn Jr.

I may have uploaded it to the wrong Find A Grave Memorial.

I'm sorry for the confusion.

RE: Phineas Alden Osborn # 49031540

I found the grave, and see the photo that you are referencing, and that I uploaded to the site in June of 2013.

I don't remember adding the photo, so I checked my tree to see if it would shed any light.

It appears that I obtained it from a public tree for Cjensen26, and I in turn, added it to my tree in June of 2013, and uploaded it to the Find A Grave memorial.

Cjensen26 originally shared this to the Hamilton Family Tree on 21 Mar 2012 ☒Portrait / Family Photo

With respect to ownership, I did not attest to ownership of the photo that I uploaded. The other photo on the Find A Grave memorial which was Added by: Kocart 5/31/2014 is annotated as to ownership, 'Believed to be the photo of Phineas Alden Osborn carried by his son William in his Civil War photo album'.

Hopefully this will help, as I see your dilemma. The two photos appear to be different people, but they could be the same person at different times in their life.

I found the photo in 9 other tree, but in each case, as it was with mine, they spawned from Cjensen26 who originally shared this in his public tree 'the Hamilton Family Tree' on 21 March, 2012.

Thanks! I find navigating on Find A Grave quite confusing and do likewise.
