RE: Jones
Ms. Kristen,
Many, many thanks so very much for letting me have my great grand parents memorials. It means a lot to me and my family.

Once again many heartfelt thanks for efforts in this matter.
Steven Jones, Megamass72.

I believe if you look closely at the enlarged photo of the gravestone, you'll find that the inscription reads March 14 (not 11) for the death date. This agrees with our family records. I have suggested an edit for the date.

RE: Martin Varner's Marriage
Kokart,

I have Martin Varner's will which names his children. I have a copy of birth dates from his bible but have not located the bible.

I have written a 460 page hard cover book "Martin Varner: Texas Pioneer - 1785-1844".

I have a few copies left for $25 if your friend is interested.

Martin Varner's Marriage
Kocart,

Thanks for your message, I have corrected the typo. Are you related to Martin Varner?

RE: Thomas Hale
Thank you - I think it best that their stone pic is above their children's. Thanks for creating the memorial! Judi

RE: Harvey Doud
You are welcome. Sorry it is from last fall (thus all of the leaves on the ground) and I haven't had the time to get all of my photos uploaded to the site.

Thanks,
Jim

I have another picture of Robert's stone. It shows his side of the stone. I did not put it on his memorial page because the date of death is not on the stone. If you want a close-up, like I did on Louise Tate's memorial, please let me know and I will put it on there.

RE: Lewis Joy - Olden-Barneveld Cemetery, Trenton Falls, Oneida, New York
Back in March 2010 -- you sent this snip: "I added memorials for the other people on the stone as well--Henry, Sarah M., Emma and Julia H. Joy. The photo of the last two is easy to see because of the lighting. The remaining side has James O. Shelley, born Aug 16 1860 and died Aug 6 1918."

I'm just now getting back to some old emails - like 2010's - and just now updated my Find A Grave entries in my database for the Joys in this cemetery.

James O. Shelley is still a mystery to me only because I'm on vacation in England and doing some email catch up while waiting for everyone to wake up!

When I get home next week, I hope to remember to recheck the Joy Genealogy that I have to see if I can find some connection to the Joy Family.

What has me curious are the 3 kids - Henry, Sarah and Emma. Since Julia was born in 1821, having a child starting in 1832 (Henry) sorta indicates to me that Lewis was married twice and he was a child from a first marriage. I've added them all as children to Lewis and Julia, but suspect the mother is wrong for Henry. Sarah is clearly indicated to be a wife of Henry, so no problem there. However, if Lewis was married previously, then who was she and where is she buried and when?
