I am a professional photographer and genealogist (over 50 years), and long time historian of Coleman County, Texas (over 40 years). Over 20 years ago, I, along with my wife, Judia, and Vena Bob Gates, published all of the marked grave inscriptions in Coleman County, Texas in the 3 volume, "Coleman County Cemetery Inscriptions." I also have these records online at www.colemanhistory.com.|
Judia and I both continue to visit cemeteries, but I do all the computer work. Judia is an artist and does not relate to computers ... she is soooo lucky!
I have welcomed FindAGrave to help carry on what myself, my wife and others are doing to keep local history information available and not forgotten. I began in the middle of March 2011 adding burials that have not been added for Coleman County.
I look forward to hearing from anyone interested in the cemeteries and history of Coleman County. Ralph Terry, Coleman, Texas.

|Bobbie Dimick||Andrew M. Nelson Decendant|
I am a direct ancestor of Andrew M. Nelson through my McNeese family line. My connection starts with Mary Ann Nelson m. Henry J. McNeese, then to John Mc Campbell Nelson m. Jane Short, then to John Nelson
m. Elizabeth Mansfield, then to John Nelson m. Lavina Mc Cuistion(sp). Henry J. McNeese was my ggrandfather. I am so happy that you are taking such good care of those brave and valiant men. Back
when we visited the Alamo, in 2002 we were not allowed to take any photographs of the interior of the building. Having these to look at brings back all of those wonderful feelings of having an ancestor who made a difference and had the will to be a part of something so big.

Thank you for the picture of this grave. These pictures help so much when working on a family tree.
I am in awe of all the pictures you have of the Griffith's. They are the line from Dad's mother's side. Melvina Griffith is my grandmother. I am wondering if you mid If I use the pictures of my family that you have? I will only use them in my genealogy postings.
