Bio and Links
Bio Photo Recently retired. Love to fish, especially warmwater, freshwater gamefish species. Used to ice fish, but need a warmer non-summer activity. Thought Find-A-Grave might fit that opening, at least through the transition months. Both activities center around the central western portion of the Finger Lakes Region in Western New York. In 2010, caught and released a 20 1/2 inch largemouth in Honeoye, a 20 1/4 inch largemouth in Canandaigua, a 21 inch smallmouth in Keuka, a 40 1/4 inch northern in Keuka, and a 27 inch chain pickerel in Canandaigua. You've got to love the beauty of the hills, the richness of the farm lands, the water resources, and the history of the Finger Lakes and it's inhabitants.

Clara Pomeroy
Hi Gone_Fishing,

Seems as tho I let your request for transfer of Clara Pomeroy's memorial fall thru the cracks. Took care of it today. Sorry for the delay.

RE: PR responses
OMG! Ha Ha. There are all manner of misinterpretations of the
Terms. I remind people that this is Find-A-Grave and not Find-
A-Stone, so IF I can be sure that I am on the correct lot that
has no markers, I will photograph it and label it. Some people
are happy with that and others not at all. You can't please all
of the people all of the time

And I don't think the volunteers look at the
memorials before going out

I do now that these things have happened

RE: Kisor family photo requests
You are very welcome, Charles. Thanks!

It's not bad but my edger needs to be sharpened

I have done that but after yours we moved right to section 14
for another sunken stone on a lot we needed time to figure out
the location of. He was very gracious about helping me when he
was really supposed to be doing something else

People still ask regardless of what is in the notes. One man put
a note on a memorial stating there was no stone and then later
he requested a photo! Some have asked for a photo when there
was one already! I don't think many folks look at the memorials
before making a request

Best regards,

Felix Till Chism St. Vincents
Charles, I got confirmation today of a location for an unmarked grave for Felix Till Chism who as you believed is buried in St. Vincents. The record gives the location as L Block, Plot 25. Its surrounded but unmarked graves on both sides. I took a photo of the general area, you can keep the photo there if you wish to show the general area, or remove it. Most of the his family is buried next door in the Carquinez cemetery in a family plot with unmarked graves as well. Hope this helps, Debbie
