Thanks for the transfers of the Peder & Ellen Andreason memorials....I was surprised to get them. I don't have a whole lot of info to add to their memorials...it is their daughter who "married into" my family tree (Distad connection). I will add anything I come across to the Andreason memorials. Thanks for entering the Andreason/Distad memorials on Findagrave & posting photos of their gravestones. You definitely helped my family research.
|NATALIE MCCAULEY||Julia Mittun marker found|
Thank you so much for taking the time to find Julia Mittun's grave site for my mother(nee Julianne Dahlquist) and I (Natalie McCauley). We spent quite a bit of time trying to locate it when we stopped up in Fosston last summer, but to no avail. We had started to think that maybe a flood from the nearby river or damage over the years, had caused the stone to be removed from its site. Now we know that it is still there. I forwarded the pictures on to my mother and she is just as excited as I am about it still being there. I am thinking that we may have to venture back again this summer, this time to actually lay eyes on it and to honor our Norwegian ancestory.
With our sincerest gratitude,
Natalie and Julie

Thanks you so much for posting the memorial for chuck. He was my uncle and as a young child it was hard to see him so handsome in his uniform walking to the bus then the next time I saw him , he was in a wheel chair and no legs. pretty hard to adjust to.

You could clean it up a bit by removing some of the things copied from my entry that you already have in their appropriate fields, such as birth/death and connections to relatives but it's now in the correct cemetery.
I have deleted mine. Thanx!
