I am a former teacher, mother of 4 and Nana to 9 beautiful grandchildren. I have always been passionate about my faith, family, animals, history and genealogy. A New Englander by birth, I now reside on the Maine coast. My wonderful husband was a career AIR FORCE man and we traveled much of the world. I LOVE America and have the deepest respect and honor for our men and women who serve our country, both now and in days long ago. As a Christian, I KNOW that death is not the end...but a beginning for those who have loved The Lord. I thank you in advance for visiting my loved ones, I truly appreciate your visits.******************************************** PLEASE stop by my Virtual Cemetery; "Celia's Precious Girls." These three beautiful little girls were killed in a car crash. You will fall in love with them as I have ♥|

Do you have any information on her? I have been trying to find her maiden name for years.

OK thanks, I added your extra notes for our boy soldier. They answered the problem very well.
The treatment of him by the rebel military seems unfair, when he thought he was called up to fight against the Crown.
Some of his family were Loyalist and escaped to Canada after farms were confiscated to defray war costs.
Some escaped to Old England. They were Anglican Vicars, goverment workers, and Anglo American Royal Navy personell.
The hatred in the hearts of their descendants continues to this day.
God Save The Queen.
Kind regards, Geoffrey

Thank you! I just noticed that you left flowers on my 4th gr-grand parents entries!!! (Bean's Corner Cem., Wilton, ME) Are you related? I've been searching for Thomas' parents forever. Do you have any info?

Best I can tell I am only related to one person in the witch trials, Susannah.
As far as William Hill, I don't have him... I do not show an Elvira in my tree, but do have a Nancy. I don't have any other information on her though...
My line follows Jirah's daughter Hanna Polly who Married William King.

Jirah and Hanna Martin are direct line ancestors of mine. Are you aware that Jirah, (and your husband and myself) descend from Susannah North Martin, who was one of the people hung as a witch during the Salem witch trials?

No problem. I have moved Garrison to the top of my list (I was doing Holmes Hill, but will take a break from it for a bit). I prefer to add the photos to the entire cemetery at once rather than picking people, so that is my plan. I got the first 20 or so done over lunch. The rest will show up pretty soon, hopefully within a week or so. It can take a minute or two per picture to upload (depending on the server speed), so it is a bit slow going. But there are only 400 people in that cemetery so its not too bad.

Garrison Cemetery - I got your message. I'll add the photo for George and any others I can find quickly. I've been adding almost 500 photos a week, but since I have 200,000 that I've taken over the last 15 years I just can't get all of them on as fast as folks would like. It violates find-a-grave rules for anyone else to post them (citing permission on the photo isn't enough, I would have to send the find-a-grave admins written acknowledgement of permission for each, and that is too big a pain). I'm on my late lunch break from work now, but will try to do them when I get off work tonight.
Overall, I felt it was most important to get their listings up, so that was my first focus. The fact that I don't have all the pictures up yet was not intended to dishonor them. I'm sorry.
