I give permission to anyone who wishes to use the photos I have taken freely my only request is to leave "From Find A Grave, Added by: Wayne Cappen (#46637266) and date". The headstones were placed by family members in honor of their loved one. I claim no ownership and consider my effort to be for the public good. Photos are for those who may not be able to visit their family members, freinds and genealogy purposes...
I welcome updates and corrections to the memorials I have control of. Please submit updates for a memorial using only the edit tab on that person's memorial page.
I will transfer to family members within the Find A Grave guidelines if you have the same goals I've stated. Please submit your request using the edit tab and tell me your relationship to the person.
The Find A Grave guideline for transfer requests says: "Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations, this would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents." If you are related and I am not, I will be happy to transfer to you if you explain your relationship and accept the continued effort to complete the memorial.
My goal is to document all my memorials by getting obituaries for each and every internment, a photo of their stone, a picture of them, Death Certificate and connect them to their spouses, children and parents. | |

 | RE: Loice Elmer /Brian/ Wayne,
Loice (Bill) was my mothers brother. According to Mom, the baby was born in Beaumont and was either born dead or died shortly after birth. She can't remember if the baby was named but she thinks it was not. I know for a fact that the baby's mother, Marguerite, was the one who placed the stone on the grave and it would seem to me that if the baby had been named that Marguerite would have included it on the stone. I'm in California for a few weeks and can't remember if I have copy of the baby's death certificate in my records. When I get home I'll check and let you know what it says.

 | I think we may be kin Mr. Cappen, I have followed alone some of your family tree here and there, cant remember what ones, but I am kin to Davis, Grangers, Simmons, Moore, Chance, Rogers, Hodges, Hobbs, Myers, Hebert, Chesson, Burns, and thousands more. I do remember on roots web you had a family there and we emailed to one another. Just trying to remember who you are and how we are kin. Thank you for so much you do on Find A Grave and others. Without people, and yourself, we would not have this wonderful site. May God Speed your way Linda Davis/Jones | | | Georgie Hinch
 | RE: Osborn Haley Adams - obit - Memorial# 62661517 Sorry I've taken so long to get back to you, and sorry about the poor quaity of the copy. It was photograhed from an old newspaper file at the local paper's office in bad light and a huge old book. However I still have the file and will send it as an attachment to an email. I can print it and it is readable, so maybe you can too. Also if you would like for me to send you a hard copy, I can do that too. Just email me your mailing address. | | | D Carter
 | Annie Hayden Hello Wayne, Thank you for transferring Annie's memorial (# 42360619) to me. She is part of a convoluted family history -involving marriages, divorces, parental deaths, adoptions and orphans -that I am still reconstructing. I had done considerable research but until I found your memorial for Annie, I didn't know she died in an orphanage in 1909. Once I found Annie, I realized where I would find her "missing" brothers -also in the orphanage. I've been researching for an in-law whose father was adopted from this family. I'm sure there are other descendants who are also searching. Hopefully, our work will help lead them to answers. Again, thank you for sharing.
