|I live in Louisville, Kentucky, and with relatives from coast-to-coast I've benefited from other people posting data and memorials on Find-A-Grave. |
A believer in 'paying it forward', I'm happy to help others whenever possible with photos of cemeteries and markers.
Here's hoping you all find the ancestors and the answers you're looking for....

I wish I had some answers for you. But I obtained my information from a cemetery book published by the Washington Co. Historical Society. I can find no other listing for George except with James Peters so I assume that is the same one, but I cannot say for sure. Sorry
I did locate a Martha Peters wife of James according to her tombstone in a cemetery in Harrison Co. but James was not listed there. I wish you the best in finding the information.

Many thanks for that! I have just added it to the page.
If you find anything else like this, do, please, let me know. However, in the morning, I am off on my wanderings again, only this time it is to Wales, which is quite mountainous but isn't quite as far away as Uttar Pradesh. As mentioned on my biography, I never check the computer when I am on my travels, so anything you send me, although it is going to be received with gratitude, is going to have to wait until I get back to London.
He was b. 1852 in North Petherwin Cornwall
and died in North Petherwin Cornwall. not Saltash.
Death: Nov. 1, 1834
These dates are wrong, Richard was b. 9 Apr 1765 in Clawton and d.11 Jan 1834.
Every other details of family are correct.
The dates you have for Richard above apply to his son Richard Banbury who married Mary Wickett.
Richard died in the same year as his father and the graves of Richard and Mary Wickett [d.4 Jan 1869] are in Clawton churchyard.
Thank you Barbara for the better picture of James Morris' tombstone. I appreciate your taking the time to post this on his memorial. You must have taken this some time ago. It is much clearer.. he is my 4th great grandfather.

Correction made. Do you know where her mother is buried?

You are welcome, I took about 200 pictures in early June of some of the older stones in the single grave section.
