Thank you so much for photographing the tombstone of Jacob S/Leslie. I did not realize any stone were available for Jacob S.; Jude and Martha! I have just sent a request for the other two children's! They were half siblings of my great grandfather, Samuel Leslie. Is it possible there are graves in that cemetery for Sophia Leslie and her daughter? I am not sure of the daughters name but it may be Adelia, Adella or something like that. Sophia was a wife of Samuel, she died at a very young age and left a daughter The daughter does show up on the census report the next year, but never after that time. I believe she may have lived with Samuel's brother James and his wife Mary and their adopted daughter Emma Wilson Leslie. Mary, Emma, another adopted daughter and James died within a few years of each other.
Thanks you again! It is wonderful to be able to get photos of relatives without having to travel long distances! I am working on photographing some cemeteries in my area of South Dakota.
