I am happy to fill requests for many of the local cemeteries including Fort Snelling, Oakland, Roselawn, Elmhurst, and Forest Lawn. You are welcome to request a photo by leaving a message on my contributor page.|
I was a professional photographer for eleven years and a few years ago I found that I enjoy photographing cemeteries. I'm not concerned with inflating my 'volunteer photo' numbers therefore I take as many photos as possible each time I go to the cemetery. What matters is that others are able to see a picture of a loved one's grave.
Please feel free to use any of my photos for your personal use. It would be best to credit the photo back to me for the simple fact that others may be interested in knowing the origin of the photo.
If you would like a memorial transferred to you, I would prefer that you use the Edit button in order to make sure the correct person is transferred to you.
On occasion I do make trips to the MN History Center so if you would like death/burial information for someone (I do this voluntarily), please leave a message for me with the person's full name, date of death, and certificate number if you have one.

Could you transfer this memorial to me? He is my great grandfather. How did you get the information about Hastings? I was wondering where that information is available or are you related to us?
Thank you so much!

Just wanted to say thank you so much for photographing my aunt's grave. I have been doing my family tree for a few years now and we had no idea what had happened to my aunt until my cousin came across her grave by accident. I can now include your photos in my tree. Thank you again as you do a great service.
Sorry, Christina I can't remember either!

|Garth Woodward||the below message from Phyllis Adamson|
hi Christina, maybe I will answer the below message from Phyllis Adamson. I know it must be hard to keep up with all the messages you get.
|Phyllis Adamson||Birth dates|
Can you tell me why there are no birth dates listed on Find A Grave listings in Canada? Is that part of the Canadian privacy laws? Without that it is not possible to identify the individuals I seek. Specifically, I am looking for James Cumming, DOB 25 Jun 1877 in Fraserburgh, Aberdeen, Scotland. He was not given a legal middle name. I have his parents' names and Mother's MS, and Scotland census up to age 13 in 1891. the trail ends there. No record of his death exists in Scotland up thru almost 100 years of age (1970). Conclusion: he did not die in Scotland. Many siblings did move to Canada; usually to Winnipeg, some to Montreal. So Canada is my next logical search area.
The only way I have to identify the individual I seek is by exact DOB/POB and/or mother's MS. Is there any way to find out those details on any kind of death record in Canada?
Thank you for your time.
|Patty ||Hector McLennan|
Good evening Christina,.....You are correct, it is spelled McLennan. He was b. 1882 in Scotland and m. Lulu A. Gorrie in Brandon , Manitoba on the 19 Jan 1907. He gave his occ. as grain buyer and he was Presbyterian, parents being Wm McLennan and Ellen McGregor. I cannot find a death for him but the info from ancestry does give his death as 1915 in Winnipeg.When Lulu married Harry E. Piper in 1914 in Whatcom county in Washington she states she is divorced and living in Vancouver,BC and two children later, when she and Harry marry again in 1923 she states she is a widow. Most of the family trees that I come upon have only the last marriage. I would really like to get this right....do you think I have the same Hector ?..with many thanks....Patty
