Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Waco (McLennan County) Texas and I serve as overseer of the Gerald Cemetery. I maintain the records for the cemetery in conjunction with the President.

I receive permission to use published obits. I also enjoy photographing cemeteries, and researching obits in the newspaper.

I do not research my family genealogy, but am using this opportunity to help others by contributing to FAG.
NOTE: West Station was the name used years ago for West TX located in McLennan County.

Mottos: Living is Giving!

Favorite Headstone: GOD LOVED HER MORE!

Saying: Never leave home without a camera.

I want to say a big thank you to fellow contributors that send in family links, b/d info, photos and any other information. The more information that we provide will greatly assist family members.

Obid Monroe Smith
Slick, thanks for letting me know about Andrew Jackson Smith's death certificate. I found the original on familysearch.

I'm looking for any and all tidbits about Obid M. Smith, his son the inventor. Obid made a compressed air car and toured several states with it, driving 9000 miles. He said his car climbed Pikes Peak like it was flat. Later on when he lived in Miami, he was a client of actress Gloria Swanson who had an inventor's helper business.

The family lived in Moody, TX around 1900.

RE: Estella Donehower Cowan
Hi Slick, Sorry it took so long to get back to you - on vacation.
This is a tough one. I entered her as Margaret Estella Nicholson Donehower Cowan & she will only come up in Find A Grave if you enter Donehower Cowan for the last name. Her number is 57607417. I don't know how else to enter her unless I leave out the Donehower or the Cowan. Any suggestions?
Thanks, Susan

photos of Devine Evergreen
I have been adding photos of tombstones in Devine Evergreen Cemetery. Some are randomly other contributors so I have been uploading if there is no picture or the shot I take is clearer. I have come across your name a few times. Let me know if you have a problem with any of them. I live right down the road from the cemetery.

Thanks, Rhonda

Mrs. Horton is buried in the Evergreen Cemetery in Mart....not at the Mart City Cemetery. Please remove this entry from the Mart Cemetery. Thank you.

I added a copy of the death certificate rather than adding under bio. Hope that works for you.
