I would like to thank all of the volunteers who take the time to enter the SACs and information I send to them. I do research the information with Census, birth/marriage/death records and obituaries before I submit the request.|
In response to an email I sent to a librarian at the Brooklyn Collection of the Brooklyn Public Library, I was told it is okay to retype an obituary or a death notice, in whole or in part, from the collection at the BDE and post it to FindAGrave memorials. The newspaper should be cited as the source. It is an orphan publication since the publisher is no longer in business so there is no copyright infringement.
Please visit Marcy Border's memorial, a 9-11 survivor who recently succumbed to stomach cancer and Cassandra Ann Morton's memorial, a murder victim who's case is still unsolved.
Please DO NOT POST DUPLICATE HEADSTONE PHOTOS ON ANY MEMORIALS I CREATE OR MANAGE. There is no reason to have two (or more) headstone photos. If the memorial is un-sponsored there is limited space. If your photo shows more detail than mine, please contact me via email to discuss it.
I will transfer memorials unless it's my direct ancestor or I'm more closely related than the requester. My goal is to reunite memorials I have created to family members. You can send the request via the suggest any other correction link under the edits tab.
You are welcome to use any photos that I have taken and posted on FindAGrave for personal use and/or not-for-profit genealogical Web sites. Please reference Find A Grave and the memorial number that you copied the photo from.

Thank you for your contribution.
Christina. I added the info that you sent to Julius Richter's memorial. I accidentally deleted the email that you sent with the info on Olga Richter. Can you send that again?
|Tom Spiegel||RE: Richter|
Hi christina. The SAC you sent was July 30, 1858 as a birth date on Olga Richter.
Hey Christina. It's been awhile. How are you? I will add the suggestion that you sent for Olga Richters memorial tomorrow.

Hi! I added a note that she was married first to Marinus then to Anson =]

Why don't you create the memorials? You have my permission to use my photo. The Borsts are not relatives of mine. I took a photo of their gravestone because I was trying to document gravestones near the one I was looking for so I could ascertain with the office whether I was searching in the right place. (That section of the cemetery--Locust Grove Div 2 Sec 36 --has quite a few sunken and toppled gravestones, as well as apparently a lot of unmarked graves).

Hi, Well not directly, my husband is Kurt Nurnberg, his aunt is Mae Nurnberg. I am researching his family. I found the information through his cousin, Richard Nurnberg, one of Mae's three sons. And since I volunteer for Find a grave I wanted to connect them together if I could. Kurt and his 3 cousins are the last of that generation so I am working to get as much of his family information as I can. Thanks for your help. Clytie

Well...I transferred Arthur to you. You see, Ethel wasn't dead when I was in that cemetery! Hope you get her transferred as well...

I just posted the photo of the tombstone for Robert J. Fisher which I found in St Johns Cemetery in Hamburg, Berks County, PA USA. I also have a picture of the tombstone that was next to it for Susan F. Fisher, born 1889, died 1932. Would you like that picture as well? You can contact me at email@example.com.
