I am the daughter of Marve L. Strouss and Pauline B. (Caldwell) Strouss. They took me in when I was 8 and adopted me when I was 9. I miss them everyday but I know one day we will be together in Heaven. Heaven is sweeter than ever because they are both with Jesus waiting for me. (Please see a note for prayers for me at the bottom of my page.)
I am married to a wonderful man Clair. We have 4 grown children and 8 grandchildren.
My son Jim Bradley is now on Find A Grave. He has found and added many of our blood relatives and I am so proud of him.
My precious Mother Pauline Strouss August 6,1917-Jan. 1, 1997 Wedding Anniversary January 28

My birth sister's husband Dennis Lickly July 7, 1948-Aug. 28, 2006 My sister didn't want to be alone so I spent several days . When I saw he was getting worse I stood by his bed rubbing his face. Tears ran down his face as I told him not to be afraid. He promised he would give all my loved ones in Heaven a hug and he slipped away.

****************************** Thank you Rosie for adding me to your page for prayers. I'd also like to thank sr/ks, GeorgiaCA, In Loving Memory, Maggie, Daddy's Girl & Judy Miller for putting me on their page for prayers. Thanks to all who do that for me.
In Oct. 2010 they did a bronchoscopy while I was in the hospital and found I have MRSA in the lungs. I had pneumonia for the second time in 2 months. I now have the MRSA in my bones, lungs and now my urinary tract.
The repeated pneumonia I have had yearly since I was 9 scarred my lungs. The scarring (Pulmonary fibrosis) never stops until the lungs can't get any oxygen.
Even the pulmonologist said all I could do was pray and hope for a miracle. He said he has seen miracles before. Now I wear oxygen 24/7. I am in a power chair because I can't walk 5 feet.
I am more afraid than I have ever been in my life. I am not afraid of death because I know I will go to Heaven. I am afraid of the horrible pain I might have as I die. I have been raised in church all my life. I saw miracles and now all I can do is trust God that He will heal me or at least let me slip quickly and quietly away.
I know this is long but some people wanted to know what I am so ill from. Once again thank you for your prayers, kind words, and good thoughts.
I want everyone that prays to pray for my healing. But if God chooses not to heal me please pray my end will be fast when the time comes. My doctor thinks in the end I might suffocate, or have a heart attack when my lungs shut down. He said I could even have a stroke and die.
The Dr. said I would not be alive past April 2012 and yet here I am. I am blessed and so thankful.
*** June 17, 2013 The past couple of days have been real full. My daughter had a Birthday party for my husband on the 15th. We had a good time on Father's Day too. I got my breathing medicine and what a relief that was. This heat is pretty hard on me. I am thankful we have air conditioning. Thank you all for your wonderful messages to me. I want to thank you for the tokens you leave for my family. I wish I was able to give them every day like I used to. This time I took my charger with me for my power chair.***

 | Hello.. I'm so sorry you now have had to deal with stress of being without your meds. While I attended a pulmonary rally last wk, thought about you. Good information there. Glad you have been able to get around more. That is such good news. Keep praying for you. May God Bless You.
