I have had a lifelong love of family history and cemeteries. I routinely review old newspapers for obituaries and do my best to place a copy on Findagrave. It gives me a sense of accomplishment, whether I've created a record, or uploaded an obituary or photograph.|
Each one of us who has this passion, is making a print on history. We are "preserving the past for the future". Family researchers who haven't been born yet, will silently thank us for our contributions.
To all my fellow contributors....YOU ROCK!!! :)
The surnames I research are: Atterbury (various spellings), Baber, Buster, Collins, Dawdy, Ford, Hollings, Kipper(s), Maxey, Meason, McGlothlen, Nickell, Nise, and Taylor.
Please visit my daughter's page. Her name is Jessica Stinson and she was my only child. Her Dad, Greg, died 4 months after she did.

Aww, Vicki! Thank you for the kind and heartfelt words you left for my dad, Richard Schwartz, a fellow WWII Alaskan veteran of your dad's. I don't know how your dad felt about his service up there, but my dad never said much about anything related to his time there. When he died we found, hidden in an old tin in the basement, remnants of a Japanese parachute, and several medals that he kept hidden away all these years. I do remember him saying that the conditions were horrible, the clothing they were issued was inadequate, and the living accommodations were less than desirable. God bless these fine men, the unsung heroes of WWII, who fought to keep us safe despite the awful place they served their deployment. They are my American heroes! I hope your Dad and mine are whooping it up in Heaven! I send my most heartfelt blessings to you and yours!

|Traci's Mom||Traci Fields|
Because of you and other wonderful findagrave friends, Traci now has 5,260 flowers/tokens, and her birthday is a little over a week away. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! We appreciate you all so much.
I'm in awe! To show you more of what Traci was like, I posted the following on her memorial page,
"Traci, my angel, I can see the big grin on your face for all the flowers you're receiving on your memorial page. You're telling me, "Mom, why are you so surprised there are so many good people in this world? You should have known that....." "You're right, sweetheart, I should have known".
Traci was a person of strong faith, and GOD took excellent care of her, and helped her through all her hardships! Her faith never waivered.
GOD, bless them all, and thank you for your wonderful gift of Traci.
We've received an outpouring of so much love for Traci. I will try to get to everyone's site and leave a flower/token for at least one of their loved ones. However, there are so many of you, it will take me a while.
Sharon (Traci's mom)
|Traci's Mom||Token you left for Traci Fields|
Vicki, thank you very much for the token you left for my angel daughter, Traci. She was a wonderful gift from GOD, and she's in my heart and mind every single day. Her passing has left major holes in the hearts of her family and friends.
I appreciate you helping to reach my goal of 5,000 tokens by her birthday, November 20th.
I'm thankful and blessed for your kindness. GOD bless you for your heavenly heart.
Sharon (Traci's mom)
|June Ford||laban ford|
I think this man was in Madison county KY in 1810, along with John & Stephen Ford. I have read the Faure book; found pretty much nothing about Stephen. I don't even know that my Fords are from the Faure family but strongly suspect.. if you know anything about Stephen's family I would really appreciate hearing from you. My husband's ancestor John Ford was close to Jared Pierce Ford & I'm trying everything to make a connection to their parents. By theway, my Buster family settled in Andrew Co MO.
