RE: Ada Theresa & George Edward Dixon

I came to see this gravestone on Labor Day 2015. When you took the photograph there was far less lichen on gravestone than when I took it.

He is my great-grand uncle. Could you transfer her memorial to my management? I am Find A Grave #46809436? Thank you for transferring Caroline Mochel.

Ada Theresa & George Edward Dixon
Thank you for photographing and listing this grave. Ada & Geoge were both killed in Chicago Sunday June 29 1904 when the car they were travelling in collided with a tram on a railroad crossing-on the Aurora, Elgin & Chicago railroad at Austin Avenue. They both lived in La Grange and were on their way to see friends in Sheridan when the accident happened. I searched for their grave in La Grange, but was pleased to find it in this cemetery. May I use the photograph on my ancestry page?

Sharon -

On occasion, I do not receive notifications either. I can only suggest that you check on your Find A Grave page under the 'Edits' tab.

Sharon, I wish to thank you for making the memorials to William and his wife Laura. Now I know her maiden name. Thanks, too, for adding the gravestone photos.

I would like to ask for your permission to use those photos (and others you may have taken of gravestones of my husband's ancestors) in our family tree on Because the photographer has a copyright for each photo, I always ask before using a photo on another web site. I will, of course, put your name as the photographer and the web site of the memorials as the source.

Thank you for considering my request,
