|mike c||Penningtons at Macon Cemetery|
I'd like to suggest corrections for a couple of your Macon Cemetery memorials.
1. Israel Pennington d. Jan 9, 1865 (mem# 80464525).
Someone has added 2 incorrect photos, and the person listed as his spouse is incorrect.
This Israel Pennington died at age 17 after enlisting in the civil war. His name appears on the soldier's monument and on his own gravestone.
I've attached both of those (correct) photos. You need to delete the other 2 and unlink him from the spouse, Hannah...
2. Hannah d. Mar 30 1893 (mem# 80464618) now needs to be linked to her correct spouse, who is the Israel Pennington who died Jan 17, 1883 (mem# 80464587).
I added gravestone photos for Hannah and Israel that should make things clear.
Drop me a note if any questions.

I'd like to suggest a correction to the memorial of George W. Morgan in Macon Cemetery.
I believe the year of death was 1849, not 1819.
I placed a photo on the memorial. The forward projection on the numeral 4 is sometimes hard to see on old stones, but you can sometimes use the spacing in front of the numeral as a clue. If the date was 1819, the 8 and the 1 would be closer together.
Also, I have a 1940 transcription of the cemetery by the D.A.R. that lists the year of death as 1849.

The gravestone for Arthur H. Vedder in Marble Park Cemetery, 92912052, is hard to read, but his date of death is 1923. I realize the "3" looks a lot like an "8" Could you please correct it so it shows he died in 1923. Thanks!
